Inspiration hit me hard after I finished reading 's "Origin". Here we see Azalea as she might appear in a few years, as an elemental sorceress. I'm really pleased with how the lightning came out in this.

The staff is called, appropriately enough, the Lightning Rod. In addition to being a physical focus for lightning power, it has a small but incredibly complex capacitor/battery just below the headpiece that maintains a strong electrical charge at all times, allowing the crystal in the center of the headpiece to float, and it amplifies the power of Azalea's spells.

The Lightning Rod's origins are uncertain. It certainly has the look and feel of a V'sstre magical weapon, but their science does not quite reach this level. So where did it come from? Could it perhaps have some other name... a name given by God...?
