I'm planning a story about Aimee.

A homeless girl who looks after kids who were left orphaned by war. After finding the instrument imbued with the Wotches power she strives to use her magic to protect her kids but encounters people who want to use her power to end the war in their favor.

I'm starting soon.

I haven't written anything except for one piece of text; I've got my hands full with other projects.

I don't know if has any plans to write about any of the historical Wotches herself, you'd have to ask her.

A very nice new piece, R-Type. It has a balanced feel between the upper titles and Aimee's figure. Aimee herself also looks very good, the various patches and blotches on her clothing giving them effective texture and volume. Although, I think you could have done a better job with her hands. Neglecting to outline the upper part of the fingers makes them look stubby, almost deformed. However, her pose, and the tattered fleur-du-lis behind her strikes me as very much like Eponine from "Les Miserables," a nice effect. I feel like I've seen the painting you used in the background before, but can't put a name or artist on it.

Good job ^^

But the electronic Babelfish is not as good as the H2G2 thing, I'd say "Le temps de l'oppression est fini", and in french, the exclamation point has a non breaking space before it.
And "La sorcière bannie" is much better (because "La sorcière de banni" doesn't mean anything)

Aha, good to know. I'll fix these things when I get home tonight.

(I speak English, I know a little German, and a few words in Spanish and Japanese. That's about the extent of my linguistic ability right now. )

She had no idea that magic existed at all, and then suddenly became the most powerful witch on the planet, surrounded by opportunistic people who saw a way to advance their agendas. I'd be a little bewildered too.

Agh! A French Wotch! My Englishness makes me instantly dislike her for reasons unknown.

Good job with the colouring.

There's got to be at least one English Wotch somewhere in history. I'll have to ask Anne about that.

I'd originally tried doing the text in red, white and blue, but that didn't work too well.

And thanks for the fave!
