Looks good!  I like the contrast of delicate detail with the solid, compact quality of the pose.  I also like how each element (paper, graphite, colored pencil, and white ink) has its own color and its own way of expressing that color.  It's simple, but subtle!

Thanks, playing with different body tones and sizes is being a lot of fun. I am glad that you think she looks compact as that was my goal when I decided to draw a Fennec .

This time I went a bit more ambitious on the use of color in comparison to my other attempts on this style , keeping each color on its own space without too much blending is very good for practicing I believe, allows you to work with the form and light in a more free way. I haven't tested it yet but I hope these pictures help me better understand shape and color when working on a more complex painting .

Very good job, Ariel!  I agree with what the others said too.  The only adjustment I might add would be just a little more taper to the right ear.  Not much though, as the fennecs are a bit different than the more common foxes.

Excellent face and muzzle.  (I like that you add the whiskers to your people. )  Nice accessories, and I like the "folds" in her skirt at it forms to her hip.  Very good use of the highlights, especially on her face and hair.

Thank you very much Ed! Glad you liked her face, fennecs are a bit harder to draw than regular foxes (for me at least) so some details as you've noticed aren't 100% right . I am trying to improve on the way I draw clothing to get it to look harmonical with the characters bodies, so lots of crazy folds to force me into learning .

I love those classic paintings with models posing with complex folded fabric, and hope to learn how to draw something similar in the future .

Hello:
It is nicely interesting how you only added one extra colour (red) to the drawing, I have seen been done in other parts and it gives a unique effect to the artworks.

Thanks, that is the idea behind these drawings I am doing with recycled paper, only one color to keep everything simple yet complete. Using just a single color helps focusing the viewer's eyes on the important elements of the scene rather than giving too much visual information .

That's very nice! specially the recycled paper part .

But you are correct, that is what I've read when oeople use 1-colour techniques like yours here.

Thanks dear, I am glad you liked her, and thanks for pointing this detail, I'll be working on some fixes for her. It is about time for me to start playing with clothing (saw your latest drawings which inspired me a lot ), nothing better than experimental drawings to go crazy and learn the ways of doing it .

I like her very much, she seems so vunerable and innocent.  And you made her skirt beautifully-really can see the weightlessness of the fabric.
Heh, my latest drawings are not that great though, bit outside of my style, and I have mixed feelings about them, but well, you live and learn
but you are definitely going in the right direction

That is the feeling I wanted to show, it is amazing how Fennecs being little cute fluffy critters can live in such harsh environments. Even looking fragile they hold a secret strength within I think .

Like you with your dress project (though I think they came out great), I am not 100% happy with her skirt, drawing folds and bends is still a mystery I must explore, being this the first more effective attempt, there is still a lot to improve .

and let me tell you-you did great job with fabric of her skirt
but Im looking forward to seeing your skill improving (although I already think your skills are better then good
