Thank you very much, I am glad you liked. This was inspired on the salish tribal style, but I changed a few things to its classical idea to give it a special touch .

Never thought on it as a tattoo, I think you are right, coastal salish style would definitely work .

Thank you very much, I am glad you liked the sky. I inspired the color pallet on the northern sky, with its dancing green lights

Wow, this is beautiful! Β I adore the sky Β

I live on the coast of BC, and I just love Coast Salish artwork. Β I hope to one day get a mask

Thank you so much! Makes me really happy that you liked the sky, it took me a while to figure out the color pallet . I have to say that I discovered Salish art because of this project, and I'll probably make more paintings like this in the future.

Interesting that you live this close to the true Salish art origins, might be fun to see signs of their traditions around. If you get a mask please take a photo, I'd love to see it

You did a brilliant job!

Yes, I find it very interesting. Β The museums here all have large coast Salish exhibits full of masks and artwork, and it's so inspiring to look at!

Amazing that stark contrast between the realistic sky and the stylized figure and moon really heighten the impact of the picture. It's instantly eye catching making it very effective cover art.Β

Thank you very much, that was exactly my idea, putting a fantasy character and moon onto a more realistic landscape, giving the idea that fantasy can be part of our reality if one searches carefully. I am crossing my fingers hoping that the publisher will approve this as the book's cover, it was a great learning journey.

Thank you very much dear, it was very challenging but very fun at the same time, I tried to push the fantasy to a whole new level by using the color contrast and the starry night-sky.

He definitely belongs to the moon, and while he can't join it on its glory, he praises it from where he is .

I like the way you made the sky- you know I love starry skies and this one is close to perfect Β
and him- you became really good at anatomy- I can only get green from jalousy and try to keep up
good job

Wow, very nice work!Β  I love the figure and the way you have integrated realism with the Salish style.Β  It really emphasizes the quality of myth and storytelling here.

Thank you very much, I had to learn how to work with this style, and to make something different I decided to give it a touch of realism without losing the fantasy aspect. The sky and water was a lot of fun to paint .

Hello:
Β I had to google for Salish style of artworks, and you did a very good work . I like the colours and how there is a difference between the colder moon and the red not-cold of the character.
