Well I've been practicing anthro for a bit. =3 I'm really bent on learning how to draw the style properly. This is my first attempt at a full body anthro character (actually, it's meant to be myself in an anthro version X3; ). Since I didn't really know how to start, I studied =kaoru-chan 's gallery and style to help... I hope that's not a bad thing, but she is one of my top favorite anthro artists~ n.n;Well... I dunno, something irks me about the picture. Mostly about the body. X3; Position looks awkward to me, the right arm was hard to figure out~ Then again it doesn't really matter, seeing as how this was a basic concept/practice sketch. Just to give it a shot.
Actually there's more to the picture; as in I drew the pants and shoes, but I'm kind of embarrassed to show them. I'm really not good with the bottom half of the body, so this is what you get~ In all honesty, only reason I put this up here was to get a little advice and critic. A few tips for a beginner anthro artist? n.n;

O___O Sheeeeite woman! That is absolutely gorgeous sissu! I think the hair and fur details are well drawn, and the eyes really give a mysterious sweetness to the whole thing! The only critique I would give would be the proportion of the body compared with the head, but I really don't think it matters that much. This sketch is just wonderful as it is!

Well, the thing I think that needs improvement is her hand. It's looks rather cut off. Everything else looks fine though. Her design is pretty cool. I really like her outfit. Maybe this is just me, but it looks like the upper part of her body is turned one way, while the lower part of her body is turned the other way. Minus that, the pose looks fine though. Her expression is pretty good as well.
