Iron Man - Robert Downey Jr.Questo è il mio primo disegno a cui ho dedicato più di 6 ore.... Posso definirlo come il mio primo vero disegno!

E' fatto interamente da me...Non è un fotomontaggio...Naturalmente i colori l'ho campionati dalla foto originale...ma è normale...se voglio renderlo uguale devo fare così...

No no, per nulla! E poi dipende dal monitor! Di solito sono sempre molto chiari e quando porti in stampa viene una patacca scura -__-

dark colors are not solid color but a range of cool darks not black as shown. where are the reflected blues from the background? shadows don't just turn black but turns in cooler colors in darker ranges. there are also contour issues as forms is slowly turning away from the viewer such as the cheeks. it look too cut out like a paper
cut out that has no relationship of other parts.

I'm 21.....trust me, here there's no future...all of Italy think that...you can't imagine how many suicides just in 2012! all business are closing, nobody have a job...an example, a lot of people is without a car now, cause fuel it's too expensive...2 euro = 1 litro...like if a gallone that cost 3 dollar...you know, I hope that something will change...i'm really tired...

No, not all of Europe...Just Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Est countries, but in germany and other north countries it's an heaven... Like some places in Canada...I'm not working for the moment... My family is rich, cause have a big business, but i don't talk with my father since a lot of time...I live alone with my fiancé, he is a security guard and working for 10 hours a day, with just one rest day, his pay is 1300 euro more or less... (1000 dollars) I studied english and french at school...In all the schools we study english from the elementary school

Yeah try to do one cold with anythign but your eye. If you fail it is ok.. don't worry. we need to fall many times, then we get better.

PROCESS,
this location of shapes and placement are traced, that is how likeness is a achieved.
It is funny how one single line is used to indicate the shapes so accurately without any errors.
professional traditional artist had to sketch to get a feel for the location using a few approximate lines.
No artists in this time nor the 18th century can achieve such accuracy in placement of lines so accurately.
coloring are placed within the confinement of lines afterwards.
It if certainly funny, if such accurate placement using observation only can result is very elementary use of colors.
It would be expected with this kind of accuracy that the color usage would be way more sophisticated then shown.
no cool colors were used on the face only what the photo shows. The artist only know how to pick what they see from a picker and not
pick choices with understanding using a more sophisticated and large range of colors.

Sono italiana quindi non ho capito tutto quello che hai detto... Però ti spiego cosa ho fatto: Ho preso la foto originale e su un nuovo livello ho tracciato i lineamenti principali, questo perchè volevo renderlo il più possibile uguale all'originale...era quello lo scopo...e fanno così un pò tutti...non mi sto spacciando per un professionista, volevo solo cercare di imparare la tecnica del realismo....poi ho campionato i colori base e ho cercato di copiare completamente la foto...L'armatura l'ho fatta utilizzando una texture di metallo...
Io disegno per hobby, non ho mai fatto scuole d'arte, quindi cerco di imparare da sola...anche utilizzando i tutorial quì su DA...
Mi dispiace che tu abbia commentato facendomi passare per una buona a nulla...forse lo sono, ma per essere una vera principiante che disegna con una bamboo wacom, bhe, ho fatto un buon lavoro...

Ok i try to explain what i mean in english...Mmmm...I take the original photo, and I traced where are the eyes, nose..... that's because i'd like make a paint that it's totally like the original...but since i'm a beginner, i don't go to an art school, i'm not an artist, i try to do of my better...then i pick the color from the original...and as you said, there aren't cool color...for the armature i used a texture and for the pore some special brushes...
I traced the main lines cause it's impossible establish at the cm and mm where some parts of the face are.... Anyway, i did in this way also because here in DA i saw a lot of beautiful paint make in the same way so i didn't think that was so wrong...

I am a pro and teacher. I can help you with some pointers.. yes for a beginner you have a good sense of color.
try to go without it and you will see everything can be very difficult.
