Description A surreal landscape with stones. Inspiration came from the place where i was last week, near a river full of stones. I love the idea that every stone came out from another rock, has done its own travel before to being in this place

Nice flowing forms. The composition is very well structured.

You are not the first person who say that, but in fact, my only conscient source of inspiration was just the nature. I passed a day alone, with stones, water and snow and I felt so much energy then... A little bit inspiration from the Myst games maybe too! ^^ Anyway thank you, for your comment!
PS: Your art evoques me a little bit Picasso too, even if there are much more fishes, but they looks so great!!!

Oh that's great! Yes, there are many differents dialects in Switzerland but i'm from Geneva where we just speak french.
I see that you live now in Australia, but where exactly?

Yes i have the same opinion about abstract / realism. Even if i am always impressed by people who can make very realistic drawings, i prefer something not very well done technicaly but full of personnality and intense emotionally! Another thing i find interesting (by a philosophic and artistic way ) is to consider that the "reality" is in fact a patchwork of abstract elements... I want to extrapolate but my english is not very good and it's not easy for me lol!
Anyway, thank you for your interesting comment!

PS: sorry to reply so late!

Hey, my friend form Switzerland. I used to live in Germany, a short train ride from Basel. As kids we spoke a Swiss/German dialect called Allemannisch.
It must be very inspiring in Switzerland, being near mountains and forests. I understand what you are saying about getting inspired by nature (and getting energized by the beauty of nature).
Anyway, thank you for the lovely feedback. I'm a big fan of Picasso, and always have been. I've learned a lot from studying his art. One thing I like about him, is that he likes to experiement. He started out as a realist painter, but eventually got bored with this, and preferred abstract art over realism. How wonderful that we have the freedom these days to paint any subject in any style that pleases us.
