I love the entire piece. I think it's absolutely stunning.
It's so warm and yet there's something chilling about it...
I like the way the 'blood' rises up in waves in the background, and the sun has a very strong presence despite being somewhat subtle.
The way the light hits the slopes on the right is lovely, as well as the details in the flow.
