Description
These are the new gas giants in Stars in Shadow. In-game, these are 3D rotating spheres, and so they were created as 1536x768 textures with multiple layers. For other examples of the planets in game see terrestrial planets andΒ homeworlds .The names are just identifiers to distinguish the different types (a hot-Jupiter, a Jupiter, and a Saturn/Neptune); these are generic planets that appear randomly.
Stars in Shadow is a space 4X strategy game currently under development.Β

Hehehhe, it's funny because Zeus and Chonos are the alternate names of Jupiter and Saturn

The Greek names, specifically. And Hephaestos is the Greek name for Vulcan.
Or, I should say... Vulcan, Jupiter and Saturn are the Roman names for Hephaestos, Zeus and Cronos, since the Greek versions came first.
