Ooh, this is such an awesome shot!
I really like how you've left us guessing as to what this piece actually is, in terms of the subject matter. The colours complement each other effectively and I think it's awesome how the atmosphere and mood are both expressed in a soft way from the pastel shades, if that makes sense.
Part of me feels it's something like feathers, but it could be a flower, or something else entirely. o.O
The focusing is interesting, anyway... I'm not too sure about the way it feels somewhat direction-less, but you've framed it well enough.
It could even be a square, but yeah.
