Especially after the Israelis started fitting French 105 mm guns to their Sherman's to create the Super Sherman.Β Even the T-54 and T-55 had a hard time against them.

Just found this ... Love the artwork. BTW one of those Syrian Pz IVs ended up back in the US..Its at a museum Just down the road from me in Danville VA, now back in its original colors........

Ah yes I forgot about the stugs! I believe the syrians also got some Jagpanzers and old nashorns too.Β I've never been to Israel, but the valley of tears and the armor museum is definitely something id check out

yeah, the armor museum is great, but a lot of tanks just got rust there with poor maintenance due to lack of budget :\

Damn, I hate that, sad that such history is undervalued .Here in the US we just had our best tank museum, the Aberdeen tank museum, relocated indoors to fort lee virginia for restoration. Aberdeen was great, but them leaving the tanks out exposed to the elements for years just wasnt a good idea.

you can find old tanks for sale, but prepare to spend atleast 100,000$. As far as tank museums, Bovington by far has the best care and show model. They still keep Tiger 131 in working condition after darn near 75 years
