this one is strikingly beautiful for its clarity, color, and content. the framing is great, too.

Nice Great capture of him patrolling.
I like the subtle pink/orange shades of dawn on the water near the soldier.
I do believe that soldier needs a few more zip-ties though

Yes they can...I like the way your mind works...hours of fun...

...tying cables, fastening weapons-slings etc...what...why? what did you think I meant...

nice shot, one tip, adjusting levels makes it pop-out a bit more
Simple Auto-levels in photoshop should do

Gee, why didn't I think of that - you'd think that after 30 years as a professional photographer I wouldn't make such basic mistakes wouldn't you...?

Do you not think maybe I wanted it look like this - what next? Cokin Filters?

Ockie In reply to arkady001 [2008-11-25 21:51:42 +0000 UTC]

Didn't mean to offend you in any way, with the basic levels adjustments it just looked better to me, since I don't know who's a professional photographer and who's not here on dA I tend to give my opinion to everyone

PS: Never cokin filters

I did adjust levels - to the amount I deemed necessary...lol
