Description

January is a month of many motifs: pine, babboo and plum blossom, chinese asters, cranes and hagoita, sparrows

This year's most popular design was a combination of pine and chinese asters. Those Pink and blue things are also pine needles

Very traditional. I like the way you took the photo, too.

Well done!

This kanzashi is great, and I don't see anything wrong with its design

But, if you think the pine isn't big enough, maybe you could take over one of the white flowers. But to me, it's not necessary, this looks simply great ^^

Thanks ^^ I think I'll leave it like that - all who'd seen this one tell me it looks okay. So I'll trust their eyes ^^

I don't see any problems with it? Maybe you should put it up where you can't see it - and sleep on it a few days, then take it out and look at it again. Sometimes that helps with me.

I think it looks great!

If you really wanted to, I think you could possibly remove one of the white flowers if you feel the design is too spread and you want to make it more compact, but I don't think the pine is really too small.

In the maiko's kanzashi, the pine motifs have 10 petals, and are made from a very bright green that makes them pop out against the background of flowers, and that may give them a slightly larger look. but I honestly think your design is well balanced and looks very good as it is.

Thanks - that was just the opinion I needed to. I've tried removing one white at first, but the whole seemed too scattered and I like geometry ^^

Mine have 9 petals, and I've made them from 2cm pieces on a 1.5 cm base, that's why mine are smaller. Thank you so much!

co prawda bardziej mi się kojarzy z nastrojem Gwiazdkowo-Świątecznym, ale to chyba różnica kulturowa akurat . bardzo ładne!

You did a great job! It's a lovely and delicate bouquet and I don't think you should take out any flowers at all. I really love the variety of flowers. Well, creators always find something wrong in their works, and so do you.

Thanks ^^ I'm still wondering about the flower, but I think it might make the whole bouqet unbalanced so It might stay as it is!

It shouldn't be geometrically correct, or have a perfect form, it should be just... natural. And it looks very natural and pretty to me. If you take away some of white flowers, for example, it would be kind of artificial (in my opinion). Besides, white flowers add some freedom and lightness to the whole composition. So I like it how it is.

Yeah, sometimes I have to convice myself, or rather let others convince me that what I do looks right XD

Yep, I succeeded! Great work indeed, don't doubt it.

I think the matter is you've been working on it for three days and you became a little biased. I wish I could express it more precisely... In Russia we say "he has a soaped eye", which means the person worked a lot on something and now he became kind of inadequate and can't see and judge fairly.
