EDIT: darkened shading, added Arcanum's wing--it had magically disappeared between Nox's horns. XD, added more rain, and some dripping off of Arcanum's wing, fixed some coloring issues, upped background contrast

Sketch from this afternoon. I've had alot of time today to work on art, sooooo I went ahead and finished it. My AMS charas. Arcanum and Nox. Arcanum being the red and orange keeping Nox dry with a wing-umbrella. XD And yes, they're a couple. Their bond for each other is quite strong.. Quite a fun sketch to do, and to outline. Shading was interesting. It's not my best though. I needed to emphesize on the charas being darker rather than the lighting. The BG was also fun to make it look like an early-night storm. Hope you like it.

Forgot to comment on this earlier >< Anyways, it's very good! The rain looks wonderful, the dragons look wonderful, the background looks wonderful, everything looks wonderful! The only slight problem is that the wing looks too small the cover the dragon? But then again, that would depend on the angle of the rain and windspeed and a bunch of other complicated stuff. But other than that, it looks lovely. Keep up the amazing workΒ Β

^.^ Thanks. Β I did notice that about the wing when doing the BG, so that's why the rain is angled (It's supposed to look like it in the BG, but I'm not sure if that's visible). Β  Thanks

Aww, this is so sweet! I like the rain bouncing off of Arcanum. It looks like he is enjoying catching the rain on his tongue.


I just have one thing to point out. In between Nox's horns, Arcanum's wing disappears. 'Tis magic. And I have a piece of advice. Adding water dripping from Arcanum's body, especially the wing over Nox, will help emphasize the rain.
