Actually, the magazine is in a pretty common position. This configuration is used to reduce weapon length, and increase stability.

You didn't quite get what I was talking about.
I mean in a strange position as in strange to perspective, because in perspective all lines meet in a single dot(there are cases with more dots, I am talking about this one)

That's pretty awsome! What gun is it? From what I can tell it looks like a british bullpup style automatic rifle.
