Description

It was business as usual one sunny day in Celadon City. A strong challenger battled her way through the gym, defeating trainer after trainer to reach the leader. But the real threat was lurking outside, a malevolent presence watching in secret.

"Heheh! This gym is great!" an elderly man cackled to himself as he peered through the window, "it's full of women!"

He was suddenly knocked over by a push from the side. Yelping as he hit the ground, he looked up to see a woman in a black suit.

"Beat it, old man!" she snarled, taking his place at the window. He knew trouble when he saw it, so he retreated as hastily as his old bones would allow. The woman looked to the air tank she carried, and the short hose that came out the end.

"This is the best plan ever!" she laughed to herself, "when I pipe this shrinking gas through the window, those haughty gym trainers will be too tiny to protect their Pokemon! Then I can swoop in and steal the lot of them! I'll get a promotion for this!"

Flanked by her fellow trainers, the leader Erika prepared to do battle with the challenger. She was set to show them the power of her grass-type Pokemon. But then she was beset by a strange feeling. The other trainers murmured in confusion, making it clear that she wasn't the only one.

"What's going on?"

"I feel kinda weird. My lunch must have been off."

"Look! The plants are growing so fast!"

"No, they're not. We're shrinking!"

Erika gasped. Her trainers spoke the truth. Everyone in the building was getting smaller by the second!

"What could possibly cause this to happen?" she wondered aloud.

"Yes! It's working like a charm!" the Team Rocket grunt cheered when she saw the women shrinking, "now to go in there and snatch those Pokemon!"

She bolted through the door. Without shutting off the gas. Before she knew it, she was dwindling down too. The door shut behind her, trapping her in with her victims.

"Uh oh..."

The shrinking finally stopped, leaving the gym trainers smaller than dolls. There was little any of them could do, besides gasp at their surroundings in awe.

"I don't think we're getting any smaller," one said.

"Wh-what do we do, Erika?" another asked her, "this is so scary!"

"I'm so cold!" the swimmer complained, "if only I was wearing clothes..."

"Maybe our Pokemon can help out?"

While they surveyed their surroundings, the tiny culprit sneaked past, trying not to be noticed as she searched for another way out of this gigantic gym.

"Ugh, I hate mazes..."
