Happy Easter! Download for quality!I had so much fun with the last YCH, I thought I'd do it again. Plus, I love drawing horses and need to practice backgrounds!

This background is gorgeous! I don't even believe you did it because you said you needed practice! O.o
The textures are wonderful, the lighting is lovely and delicate and the reflection in the water so nicely done. The rocks in the foreground have a softness to the shading that is a touch stylised but I can't stop looking at the shoreline further back - the way you've done the waterline, the grasses and the trees, mixing in less saturated greens and greys...that part of the painting looks so real.
The horse is the most stylised part of this, so I'll be fascinated to see how it looks finished with any shading techniques in place to really blend the character into the environment. (I'm guessing the horse will get a reflection then to save you painting it twice ^^) I only wish I had the funds to bid on this. Really wonderful work - I'll keep an eye out for things you do in the future

i may be able to make the ears longer and add horns and change up the nose, but the anatomy would still be very horsey. Or I could just change the species and transfer the design to the horse lines depending on what you would want!
