Description Something I painted yesterday on a whim. I was looking up stock photography for reference and found this photo: [link] I love the outfit and look and somehow came out with this illustration. I think this is the closest I've remained to a stock photo reference wise. I didn't really want to change much since the whole outfit was what I was looking for. Thanks to for the use of his awesome stock! His stuff is great for reference!

Thanks! Its really my first time messing with steampunk, but was always something i wanted to try. I want her tanktop. Actually all i could think when painting her was laurissa! She would wear that pilot hat thing to school sometimes!

they are cuz then youre actually motivated for them kinda like how art is supposed to be i guess. Its not as fun when you HAVE to make something for someone else that you're not interested in.

Nice job on the lighting. I'd imagine it was a strange way of going about putting in your values, because you had to base everything else on the photo. It turned out awesome.

thanks! yeah the lighting was kinda hard... i really kind of made it up as i went along (light sources are not my forte) but it was a lot of fun and i think this was my first finished robot (Mechanical things are also not my forte, but I always wished I was good at em!)
