This is like a slightly younger version of Reg. and wow i'm realising this drawing didn't turn out very well.Well Reg's backstory kind of revolves on his dad. and well his dad is an alcoholic. and well i had this idea that Regs dad only hit him once, ONCE. JUST ONCE. His dad realized what he had done. and soon after tried his best to stop drinking. and never hit Reg again. EVER.
well this is just an idea though. I haven't talked to jigimit yet. whoops.

Like maybe one day Reg ends up coming home really late like past his bed time late so when he gets home
he starts walking to his bedroom thinking his dad is already asleep only he was waiting for him in the living room. He's looking
all mad with his arms crossed and a beer in his hand.Reg tries to tell him he's sorry but his dad just ignores him
and to make matters worse he pulls out reg's report card which says he's failing school (because I had this idea
that reg was failing school in 9th grade) Reg once again tries to tell him that he is sorry and that he is trying his hardest but his dad
just gets so annoyed he ends up giving reg the back hand. Reg gasps at this and just kinda holds his red check while
staring up at his dad surprised because he had never been hit by him before.He yells at him to get his ass to bed, reg doesn't
hesitate and does as he's told.After this reg's father sits down and realizes what he had just done, as a result he tries his bed to stop
drinking so much and tries to distract himself with work while trying to find his son a tutor to help him with his work.
Reg doesn't think much of it now but he can get a bit 'flinchy' and protective of himself whenever he thinks he's gonna get
hit by someone only to find he wasn't and this is also when he started to feel a bit worried around his dad when he's angry or drunk or even both.
When he see's his son like this he usually feels regret so he only touches his son on his shoulder now when talking.
daichi found out about reg's little problem when he was just starting to get along with him, like maybe daichi tries to touch reg's face
or something but reg just kinda flinches away and daichi glares at him until shrugging it off.

- And i think after all that had happened. Reg would have a small fear
of having his grades drop. Or coming homing REALLY late despite
being able to go out for longer. I think he would always have these
lingering fears of all of that happening again. AND maybe he's scared
to sort of become his dad in a way. His dad isn't a bad person,
but he can be agressive and scary. And Reg doesn't really want to
become that.
- I think after Reg's father hit him. His dad would barely touch him.
The distance would grow more, and they wouldn't talk about the
incident either. It's like this silent rule that they don't talk about it.
Because of this, say one night Reg and his dad end up in a really big
fight where it's just the two of them home. Like his sister and his mom
are having an ovenight girls night. And when Regs father gets REALLY
angry and doesn't know how to let it out. Reg kind of snaps at him
"What are you gonna do!? HIT me again!?"
gosh dang.
- Reg being all flinchy about people touching his face. This would so
happen.
Like what if one night. Reg had Daichi over again, cause he's feeling down
or just drinking again. And Daichi goes to touch his face, and Reg just completely
flinches and kind of scrambles away, then is completely still.
- Reg would be very protective of himself. I think that would be why
he doesn't open up a lot. He doesn't want to cause trouble. And he
doesn't want to be in trouble. He doesn't want people to pity him./
He kind of doesn't want people to see him as weak person...

Reg has a lot pf personal problems and he doesn't want to tell others because he doesn't want to
feel like he's 'complaining' and he fears that if he tells people he might make it worse.
As he grows older him and his dad become farther a part and I bet there's a reason why he is so kind to children
and If he were to became a father himself and have kids he would be one protective yet very kind dad,trying his best
to keep his kids happy. He would probably still invite his dad to family events like Christmas dinner or something because at times
he must miss his dad and wants to see him. They try to have good times at parties and family dinners and I bet Reg's dad would of passed his drinking problem as an older man so that him and his daughter wouldn't have the same problem as him and reg did.
All this talk about my poor bby is making me sad and I want to write a fic
