Hello again! this time I bring you another illustration about aeroplanes, this time the mythical Hawker Hurricaine Mk1.

The Hurricaine is the unsung hero of the Battle of Britain, an aircraft overshadowed by its "cousin" the Spitfire. In large part, it was this aircraft that overcame the first German fighter attacks, outmanoeuvring them.

In this case this aircraft belongs to No. 303 Squadron RAF or 03rd "Tadeusz Kościuszko Warsaw" Fighter Squadron, a squadron formed by exiled Polish pilots who continued to fight against the Nazi forces until the end of the war. In this case, the aircraft is flown by Captain and ace aviator Eugeniusz Szaposznikow.
