Taking you back to '98 ...I never mentioned it here before(because it's not important),
but if there is a video game series I love perhaps even more than RE; then without a doubt it's MGS.
Strange but, I've never drawn anything for it,
time to put that right !!!

This series Is great. Playing through all the games to number 4 is really strange though.
The only game to ever impact me emotionally is MGS4.
Seeing snake in such a fragile state. Going back to shadow moses the flash backs TAKING DOWN FUCKIN RAY WITH REX and the ending. Made me cry like a bitch. All I have to say is this is the best series of games of all time.
And this is nice appropriate tribute to it.

I'm pleased MGS4 had that effect on you, the story didn't quite hit me as hard as the previous series, I think I was just overwhelmed by all the things Snake could do this time. I enjoyed actually playing MGS4 more than following the story but overall it's a must have all time classic there's no doubt in that !

The prog used is Graphics Gale, but you can get an identical look from most oekaki boards and even MS paint.

It's funny though, each video game age has it's own retro feel, you know ?
I'm playing again through MGS1 now and it's this age of playstation games that has it's own vibe or nostalgia. It's different from the nintendo NES/famicom age or SNES. This sounds obvious maybe but it's also quite subtle. Even PS2 games have developed their own sentimental feeling for me now. The look of the graphics, and also something beyond that is hard to define, it's something I cherish differently. Is this just me or what ?
Indeed; I'm pretty damn sure in 10 years from now that PS3/XBOX/Wii will have developed their own retro-nostalgic feeling when we play them. My god I'm rambling !!!

your love for MGS has never been a mystery to me. This is great though, i love how it's just line work with shading. It's the whole way you make simple drawings looks so great. You now i love it man.
