Apparently, after all those years, nothing much has changed.
This was done as a quick "break pic" after I had finished a commission, and before I start another one.
I gave Hunter a tattoo coz it's sexy XD It's some sort of tribal version of the "Road Rovers" logo.

*Gasp!* A tattoo?! On Hunter?! How scandalous! XD seriously though, nice touch. Honestly, to me, it gives him more of a "been through and seen some shit" feel. Like he's been places that the kids' show couldn't tell us about.

That's the way I've always written him in my fanfics. My fanfics were always much darker than the show and pitted the characters against some real life and death conflicts. I wrote a ton of fanfics between 1996 and 2000 especially. In them, Hunter alludes a little bit to a rough past, and it eventually comes back to haunt him in the form of his first 'wife', Clandestiney.

Well and when you take into consideration some of the things the Rovers were sent to deal with...the series certainly couldn't show these things in all their gory horrificness, but what immediately comes to mind are the regular civil wars and genocides in Africa and other places. And I know for fact that kind of stuff would have left more than a couple rovers shell-shocked.

Mind you I don't like it when I character has non-stop angst over something (though it's understandable depending on what the issue is) but having a little something that shows they can actually really feel bad gives them some depth ^_^ that's also part of the fun of original characters. Again though, all in how you do it hehe

This is a great pic! I am a Hunter fan, as well as a Chavaleh fan, though she is a fan-made character, albeit a cool one. I don't care if their relationship may be a little strained, but I think they're both cool.
