Glad you agree with Larry then! This mountain is no problem to get up, it's the coming down on skis between those huge chunks of rock that scares the you-know-what outta me! This is the kind of stuff my kids ski. Just bombin' down the mountain. Me, I just take photos . . .

Thanks Larry! And yes, I agree, it is often so difficult to realize just how huge these mountains really are. So I really liked having the cable cars in the photo. And what is even more amazing is that I took this photo from the village itself. Everything is just so close. The lift entrance is right in the village. Notice also the ski trails. I goes right through the space between those rocks just right of center and the other is to the far right of the photo--then they come together below where that smal cable car is in the lower left. I'm just glad I'm taking photos and not on skis, thank you very much!

I agree, not a place to start--there are easier places to do that, but my skiing days are long over and I never took it up again as an adult since I didn't want to risk injury, especially to hands, wrists and arms. I was never any good as a kid anyway.
