I just realized...this thing has torsion bars doesn't it (I've always thought they kept the Bogie system from the original centurion but the spacing between the wheels are all off)

Yup, it does. Actually, the MkIb was a total rebuild from the wheels up and the Mk 2 is an upgrade.

Did they get the 120mm gun or did they just prepare for it?

No, they just tried to get it compatible with the new turret. They're using the 90mm gun.
