Might as well upload this now. It started off as a concept for my little sister's earth character but she didn't like it. So I decided to keep it for myself. I quite like it ^^(man I'm getting tired of submitting portraits!! I've gotta do something else!)

I've tried to do silver ornaments like that before and failed

really? what I do is I put down a medium-gray line,then place a thinner lighter-gray line through the middle of it, then lastly, I place a bright highlight where-ever the main light-source hits the ornament (I usually use a reeeally light blue; I hardly ever use pure white ^-^) hope that helps (I'm not very good at explaining things) I mainly use this for thin & delicate ornaments though.. Hope that helps you with your future attempts! ^-^

Thank you for the tip!! I don't know what happens, I never manage to make it look so natural as you did, I think it's because I never get to fit the grey color into the painting's color scheme. But I'll keep trying having what you said in mind!

glad to have helped ^^ you could try softly overlaying some of the colours in your painting to get it to fit in, but you might have to experiment to get it to look right ^^

This is absolutely stunning. The colors are so vibrant and the character's face is GORGEOUS. The eyes are the most eye-catching, but I can't help but adore the lips the most. They're so glossy!
