: fanartoutlet.tumblr.comI recently finished my Dragon Age playthrough from DA: O to Awakening to DA2 + every single DLCs back to back, it was epic.
I had played DA: O and DA2 before but it was years ago, I didnβt remember most of the game. Now I got brand new shiny head canons and I am so stoked for Inquisition!
I had not liked Anders on my first playthough (foolish me), but now that I have played Awakening and that my f!Hawke romanced him, he has become one of my favorite characters in the franchise.

I really wish the devs had more time to explore his character and his relationship with Justice/Vengeance better in the game, especially towards the end! I really liked his character in the games too ahh ;;u;;Β
You did such a great job here with the two sides of his personality, and how there's the exploding chantry in the middle omg

I agree about Anders, I feel like there is so much more to know about him than what
we've seen in the game. He's such a deep character imo, with his internal conflict having
such an impact on his life over the years, and they made him respond in such a human,
relatable way and unf idk. I don't get why so many people hate him. I think he's down
right fascinating! We better be seeing more of him in Inquisition, or at least discover more
about his past .. WE MUSSTT. *shakes fist*Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β

People forget that he was locked up in solitary confinement for two years and took a lot of verbal and physical abuse before he met the Warden-Commander and joined the gang at Vigil's Keep ;;-;; I feel so bad about how misunderstood he is when people say 'he's a terrorist' and 'he doesn't do anything but whine' huughuh so DAMN YEAH we must! My friend and I have been talking forever about how we need to run into Hawke and Anders being a fugitive couple or meet Romanced-Alistair in Inquisition too xD

That meta-analysis on Anders is very interesting ! It didn't have
the time to read it all (yet), but it's a very good read. Of course the
author doesn't have to convince me on anything haha, I agree with
everything. Maybe except the part when he/she says he/she doesn't
agree much with Anders (potential) romantic relationship with Hawke.
(I mean wuuut.) And I ship them too much to not frown a bit at his/her
opinion (and cus I'm also a huge softie. ;3
