Description An insane scientist, specializing in DNA combinations, created creatures. Creatures that were based on human form, but modified to move more effectively, which led to less bone structure. Improved strength, heavier than usual people, but still good inside. They have been left for themselves. The church became their new home...

I don't know if You've heard of a short movie "The Cathedral" by Baginski. Your artwork reminds me of it. I like the concept, and the mood of this piece.

Dude.....it all blends together so well, at first it seems I'm seeing it myself and then I realize it's not a figment of my imagination, but real. How to say? A beautiful nightmare that touches you deeply? Bah forget it, words can't say it! Great job!

Really stuning work, Artozi. As you said in a comment above, the detail and simplicity in some parts make the work more "emotional" and dynamic, showing the "pain" and the creepy atmosphere of a place with abandoned experiments in a better way. The color choice is cool, too!
Greetings!

It is based on very simple observation: do you prefer to look at 100 completely detailed and finished pieces or 100 a bit more loosely done? As you see it only depends on personal preferences. I just get bored by too definied works. Cool comment!

Exactly! And the same thing goes to people and some landscape illustrations, specially in concept art. Now the fashion is to make ultra detailed illustrations with almost "impossible" colors and lights, etc. But always the simplicity (taking "simplicity" as a concept of correct distribution of a few elements) is better, it requires more attention in the composition, and the result is more dynamic and effective.
...But, as your signature says, "art is modifying what you've learnt about reality", so well, each dude will have a different concept of reality, and with that, his or her own artistic influences...and results.
Greetings!

I love the amount of detail this has even though it still looks nice and smooth like it does when people use rather large, soft, brushes. Great job on the lighting and reflections too. I like the composition too. I just love it

And that was excatly i wanted to convey! I don't like overworked paintings, so i tried to keep it simple and detailed in places. Thanks for warm comment!
