It's me again! Hello! How are things?

You know, sometimes people think that the Art Siren thing is just a branding gimmick, but it really isn't. And I'm not going to bore you with a long journal-ish post about how I'm really a mermaid on the inside (even though it's true!), but I will say that there's something about being in the water that is very magical. And it totally sucks that I'm in a position where I don't get to experience it very much. My small place doesn't have a tub, Canada's is always cold and a far drive away and, call me stingy, but public pools/beaches turn me off. I can count on one hand the few times I've been able to be alone in the water under very specific and wonderful circumstances that made me completely fall in love with it. (Siren's are solo swimmers after all!) And those moments were so powerful that they stuck with me for ages!

In my perfect world, I'd have access to a private space with clean water, deep enough to swim in, close enough to me that I can jump in between art breaks and come right back! Haha, that's the dream! My own little Oasis. What would your Oasis look like?

EDIT: This is my Avatar Art I did in 2020, which is aging super well, I still love it. I enhanced the colours a bit too since it wasn't something I was that comfortable with back then!

This was the first time I drew my Avatar with front bangs. I always liked the front bangs look, but not only was it not the style that the family liked, but my hair stylist I was going to at the time never really did the best job. So I just tolerated side bangs. But one day, I decided to do it myself and I found that I should have just done the front bangs way earlier. I think it's the look that suits me best and I've kept them ever since!
