Emara moved into Ninjago when she was 5 from a far away country. As They moved into their new house on a hill of a nearby villiage outside of Ninjago city, she heard an unkown commotion in the village's forest. In the forest, she found a mysterious shaped rock and opened it to find a mysterious glowing blue crystal and took it home and fashioned it into a necklace. After a few days she found the stone, animals started to follow her everywhere she went and the amount of animals following her increased that even dangerous animals were lured to her. On the way home from school, she was followed by a wolf and accidentally ran away into a forest. Out of fear, she screamed out for help which caused the necklace to send out a glowing sonic boom and out of surprise, the wolf ran away and her brother came to rescue her. After the incident, animals had stopped following her, the necklace stopped glowing and she was able to have a normal average life again as she grew up. Her brother owned a well known restaurant club in Ninjago and called it ' The Lucky Stones' where Emara worked there as a singer. She met Nya on one of her singing nights, which lead to her being introduced to Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole and Sensei Wu. On Nya's first meeting with Sensei Wu and the ninjas, she felt like that she wanted to join them on their mission to save people. She personally asked Sensei Wu if she could be an ally and work alongside them, but understood if he wouldn't want her to because she just wanted to join to help others. Sensei Wu had let her join as an ally, but Emara was stunned and asked him why was she just easily let on the team. Sensei Wu explained that the necklace that she possessed was the ancient and legendary animal spirit stone that was thought to be destroyed by her ancestor to avoid getting it In the wrong hands of an evil general years ago. He finally explained that it was fate that had lead the spirit stone to her because the stone would have been dangerous is in the hands of evil and would have harmed many, which meant that she was true to her potential and word.

In Ninjago Rebooted:

Emara has picked up a few tricks and skills from the Ninjas and now she knows how to execute a few some simple fight moves or two to defend herself. She left her village and now lives in Ninjago city with her brother and dog in a house right next door to the lucky stones club. She now acts as the Ninja's and helper, providing them with information that they might need for a mission or to solve a clue or crack a puzzle and sometimes tags along with them. One night when hanging out with the Ninjas, a mad scientist recognized her stone crystal, broke it off her neck and stole it. Emara knew that if the necklace gets into the wrong hands, it would cause terrible events to happen. The Ninjas helped her to track down the scientist to an underground lab and help Emara to get her necklace back. The scientist saw the ninjas and tried to make a run for it, but he tripped into an unfinished high tech machine project he was building. The machine was highly unstable and gave the Mad scientist an electric shock and caused him to fall unconscious and loose grip on the necklace. Emara couldn't catch the necklace in time and it fell into the machine, making the machine go into overdrive and causing it to blow up. The ninjas searched through the machine's remains and to their amazement, found the necklace still intact. Emara noticed and told the ninjas that the necklace's energy felt different when she held it, saying that if they listened closely, they could hear mechanical and electrical whirring from the crystal. As she put it on, the necklaces energy flowed out towards the machine's remains and reconstructed itself as a bird that was made from usually spiritual energy, but it had high amounts of electricity flowing through them. Emara discovered that the contact of the mysterious crystal with the high amount of unstable electrical energy from the machine made her able to now summon animal spirits that can hack into machines and control them.

She got her pet dog from one of her mysterious animal followers

Even though Emara has learned how to fully control her power, she is trying to avoid using it as much as possible and use it in extreme danger
