So i guess you can say that in Rebooted, Emara's ability and strength has developed and improved over time, yet she is still learning even more. She doesn't seem to be as shy and nervous anymore, as she follow's Cole's words to Stay strong. She seriously admires him, which of course leads to the secret romantic feelings for him. But because him being a close friend, she was hesitant in telling him how she felt, and many times has missed the opportunity. When she found out that Nya started to share romantic feelings for Cole, with the earth Ninja soon somehow feeling the same way ( because of that Love Calculator in Cyrus Borg's Laboratary ), Emara was heart broken.

The thought of Cole and Nya ending up together unnerved her to the point where she became distracted in occasions, not acting herself. The sweet and kind Emara even snapped back at Nya for the first time too, accusing Nya of getting in between Cole's friendship with her, because Emara was upset and frustrated then. When Cole wanted to talk to her, she couldn't even look him in the eye. These distractions and change in Emara resulted in the decision of leaving the gang at the near end, because she couldn't let her feelings get in the way and break up friendships.
