Aoki needed an upgrade. XD [link]I have had this idea in my head for over a week, and the trickiest part of this entire project was figuring out how exactly I was going to execute the composition.
I’ve been feeling artistically derpy recently, so I wanted to boost my confidence by drawing a picture with some of my favorite elements and motifs: pouffy sleeves, a (military-style) corset, flouncy ruffles, and pretty, pretty flowers. @w@
Also, I wanted to play around with a subdued color scheme and, given the limited amount of markers at my disposal, I think this piece turned out decent. Also! I almost colored the windows a light blue-grey instead of a really light grey, but decided that it would detract from the elegant feel of the overall picture and make the blue parts stand out much less.

This is a stunning piece, being one of your watchers i know that you work is always to a high standard but this blew me away. Ther anatomy is amazing and really fits your personal drawing style. The colour pallette really fits the picture and the character, i love the use of roses and how they contrast to her dress. The shading is amazing,i love how you can shade so well with markers because it is not easy. The perspective is very nice and the lighting/shading fits it perfectly. Your finelining is very clean and over all this is superb.
i have no idea how you could make this any better sorry.

Once again your color scheme amazes me. I do agree that a blue-grey in the window would have drawn away from the blue in her hair & dress. Plus the grey window just makes everything else pop out in the foreground.

Well, the first thing that caught my eye was defiantly the color scheme. Everything fits together so beautifully, there are no colors that off-set or unbalance the picture. Very soothing, it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it.
The one thing I see that would make this piece even better would be line weight. You have a little bit on the girl, but there could still be a bit more. I don't however see any line weight at all on things like the curtains or the windows. Just adding a little will make the picture pop a lot more, and it'll help give the eye spots to focus on, and if you place them right it'll help smoothly run your viewer's eyes from one side of the image to the other.
Speaking of movement, the placement of everything is spot on. The focus is defiantly the girl, but her hand and flowing hair make you interested in what else this piece has to show.
So yeah! Amazing color, great composition, lovely details! Just try to get a little bit heavier lines in there and you're golden!!
