::EDIT::Her skin is a deep tan color, its not just shading.
This is just a new character concept that i felt like sketching out. The cool thing is this almost exactly what i had initially planned her to look like. I dont really have a name for, but ive been calling her "flintlock lilly" for the time being. Well anyways critique freely as she is a new character.

I decided since it said in the project that I only need to 'enhance' it, I'd just clean it up--but I think it could still cut it as coloured

Sometimes i just get cool ideas from out of nowhere and im like "wow im amazing". One way to be creative like this is to look at A LOT of other people's character designs then you start to formulate really cool ideas based loosely around several of the ideas you may have seen before. I use this technique quite a lot, i may have seen more pictures than most people even want to. One last thing, even if a drawing is bad it may still present good ideas that you can salvage for later concepts.

I kinda just get ideas and run with them, sometimes they are historic outfit ideas but i always make them a little more fantastic. I enjoy making unusual outfits mostly.
