I realized I had no artwork of my hyena Faida yet, so I thought I'd fix that.
Hyenas are some of the most underrated predators in Africa. Though dismissed as lowly scavengers, they're very intelligent and brave animals, able to form complex societies and hunt in cooperation.
Baby hyenas also look like mini Tricos and this is a scientific fact and it's 100% evidence they are awesome.
Faida is the old matriarch of the Magadi Lake hyena clan. While she may appear a little cuckoo, she is actually much more cunning than she lets on.

When I was in second grade, each of us had to write a miniature book on an African animal of our choice. My choice was hyenas. I got into so many fights with people over it because nobody would believe that hyenas were really good animals, and my tiny gremlin self wouldn't tolerate that injustice. I love hyenas, this one in particular. This painting is gorgeous and I think it really captures the character you've given Faida so far in the comic.
