Description A trip yesturday to the magical waterfalls of South Wales, deep in the Brecon Beacon national Park.

This one is called Sgwd-Yr-Eira and you can actually walk right through behind it.

I love the lush greeness that such a damp and misty gorge can create

I think panning more to the left would make the composition a lot stronger, because now the water is rushing out the side of the frame which is a little unbalancing, I suggest you get the water flowing more towards the viewer and coming out at the bottom right corner.

Wonderful shot, and from a different angle than I managed to way back: [link]

The water was flowing alot stronger then, and I can vouch for being able to walk behind the falls...although have to say adrenaline was pumping, it's so slippery and with a massive torrent of water thundering down it's easy to find yourself in trouble.

Lovely greens, you done well!

Still love to see them though. You've really managed to get about these great places - very impressive.

This is a really gorgeous place, but i would have considered a different cropping. Here the main subject feels so distant to me, and i find myself looking at the rocks in the middle. I think recropping it tighter might just solve that and help bring the amazing background more into place

I am not against you watermarking your images. I just hate the DA one. It is artless and tasteless. It is also very easy to remove with free software:[link] There are absolutely loads of these programs all over the web.Try this:[link]

The best way is to digitally embed your details into your work. That way it will never be able to be removed no matter what they do.

I just hate to see us all paying for membership and having to deface our images to protect them. dA should give us the digitally embedding facility included in our membership/ Somehow I don't think so...

its not that which I get angry about....its people who use the images for background manipulation ....or worse, the ones that make glitter banners and signitures from them and splash them over My Space etc. Thats why I watermark on these small resolutions. I know they are too small to be printed, but I hate seeing my work carved up and glitterd :anger:

I think its the DA management you should directing your comments at not us photographers
