This started as a simple doodle I did in Photoshop, but I rather liked it and ended up coloring it! And in a different style, too, I believe this is my most realistic piece so far. (Well. Semi-realistic, at least.) The actual making of it didn't take so much time, but rather deciding how I should do it! Lots of fun experimenting. I now officially declare that I love painting hair! I always have with my pencil, but this is different. Hard, yes, but fun.Photoshop CS2

You know, this actually reminds me of a girl I know called Andrea. Looks almost exactly like her except she has freckles. Very pretty.

I loooove the face. It's expertly drawn. Those eyes really draw me in. And the shading on the skin is fantastic!
If I were to pick up on one thing it would be the way the hair is shaded on the right-hand side - it looks a little "feathery", for lack of a better term. But it's hardly anything and you could probably leave it how it is, to be honest! I love this picture.

I haven't, actually. But I've very often thought of it! There are a few pieces I downright dislike, but some still receive faves so I let them be. Perhaps I'll just move them to scraps instead, but I guess it's always a bit 'healthy' to see the old pieces, or even motivating to see improvements

The shading on the shoulders is fantastic, and I love the style you've chosen to do this in.
The lines around the nose look a little hard, but in general the outline is fantastic.
I like the colours you've chose for the hair, but I think it'd look more realistic if you used a selection of smaller and smaller brushes.
