The most noticeable hint I've seen in the show so far (I'm still fairly new to the show BTW) was in Rogercop when Adrien was upset when his father hadn't shown up to the school for parent career day and Plagg asked if he (Adrien) was OK. That was a very sweet moment for Plagg showing that even though he teases Adrien a lot, deep down he can be sympathetic at times.
