I actually only recently read the books a few months ago. I only knew the films for many years and I don't think I ever found myself surprised or otherwise. I only really took an interest in Snape years after the big reveal and everyone had already talked about it. What freaked you out about it?

True that! I now hyper-notice whenever Alan Rickman is in anything I'm watching and there's a little spark of sadness in me for him. I watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today and realised he voiced the depressed robot. Didn't notice it before. He didn't even make a physical appearance but a little bit of me mourns him every time.

Got me a second job so time is short alas. ;n; But it is well worth it in my opinion. Other than that, I am great! New place, cheaper rent, and all my furbabies are fat and sassy! I hope you are doing well yourself!

I hope it's an enjoyable second job at least?? I've got two jobs now as well and it suits me I think! I have an internship with a design company for film/TV/events/exhibitions/themeparks/attractions... themed physical spaces basically and have remote freelance work with an American client- the RPG concepts I've been uploading. I spend half my week in a studio and half working from home. On the flip side I've been in and out of hospital for the last four months among other hurdles. But that's life I guess! It's at least moving- 2016 was super stagnant for me. Nice to hear you have a new place! A totally new location, or just a new building?

Same time, same former job, but wonderful new apartment. It's tucked in the forest and hidden away from the busy road and bustling college which is literally right next door. It's a wonderful location and since we have a porch that kinda extends in to the forest and we have bird feeders and get to watch them play. My cats absolutely love them. Watching them, nothing else, hah hah. As for my second job, I'm editing a book to be published actually. I too have been doing freelance jobs myself, but this one is the biggest one yet and I'm enjoying it so much! I'm glad things are going well for you on the work side. Gaaaah, I hope your health is on the mend though and that the other hurdles are eventually surpassed! I'm rooting for you, of course!

Aww a home tucked into the forest sounds perfect! My ideal place would be situated in a forest, or by the sea. I'm definitely not a city person and bird song really is a beautiful thing. Editing a book also sounds fun, I wish you the best of luck with it! Freelancing can be a bit hit and miss- no work for ages then too much at once!
My health sadly can't be mended... (nothing terminal!) but it is a life-long condition that's really hurting my back. I've just been getting it investigated in the hope to better understand it and learn how to deal with it and the pain.
