Description The command crew of the Aurora assembles on the bridge as the ship slides into a close orbit around WR-367 to begin their month long study of the star as it sheds it's outer layers of Hydrogen.

From left to right,Β Ensign Darren Wyrich, Human Helmsman, Lieutenant Shalla, Andorian Chief Operations Officer, Lieutenant Commander Csina, Caitian Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Colby Kimi, Human Esper Councilor, Captain Arcelyn Soras-Baris, El-Aurian Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander Keira Voight, Human Chief of Security, Commander Sorena, Vulcan First Officer, Lieutenant Odox Ferag, Bolian Chief Science Officer, and Doctor Selak, Vulcan Chief Medical Officer.

Had to hide one of the bridge walls and doors to get this far out for the shot. Won't do that too often with this set I don't think. I just thought this would be the easiest way to show the Command crew in their element.Β

Thank you!Β  My goal when I'm making my own crews are to make sure everyone that's featured is unique and to try to get as much variety in as I can handle, be it different nationalities among the human crew or a variety of alien crew members. If my human crew out number the aliens I need to change it up. lol

This is wonderful.Β  Is this from a Starfleet Universe type game you are playing, or story you are creating?

This is a fresh universe to play in not really related to the games.Β  All my sets are either something I've put together, re-purposed from freebies or I bought and re-textured. It's an alternate but similar universe, kind of like one of the ones Worf jumps to in Parallels and created in the Star Trek 09 film by Nero. I have a few recurring characters and several central characters but the storyline starts around the end of TOS in 2269 or 2270 and then I've carried it all the way past Star Trek Nemesis with ideas set in 2380 and even beyond that.

This particular story I'm working on is set in 2364, so around the start of TNG. It just happened to coincide with a story I wanted to tell and a contest with the DA Star Trek group. The bulk of what I've been working on before this has been in the early 2270s, hence my focus on the TMP and revamped TOS style sets.Β

My group's RPG is the old school crazy dice, papers and books tabletop style. It's based in Starfleet Universe right at the start of the General War, after TOS-before TOS movies (if I have the timeline correct). Anyway, love seeing your artwork. It really brings the sci-fi daydreams to life.

I was just going to ask if you were playing with the new Star Trek Adventures RPGs books but then realized that StarFleet Universe is the game based around StarFleet Battles that also has an RPG. It's also an AU since they basically only have access to TOS and TAS, but they pack in a LOT of stuff going on there with it. So yeah, right after TOS is just before the General War in the SFU.

I would love to run or play in a Trek group but our regular RPG group is pretty much D&D or Pathfinder at the moment with the occasional Star Wars or Rifts campaign thrown in here or there.Β

Aww why thank you!

My group had been playing Conand20 for over 10yrs. So they wanted to try something futuristic. Since they were all familiar with D20 Modern we just slipped over to the Starfleet setting (highly modified with flavors and House Rules). I enjoy seeing game/original story art. Cool gallery you have.

We're on a kidn of hiatus at the moment. I'm slowly putting together a Waterdeep campaign using the new books for 5th Ed and I'd love to run Castle of Strahd.Β

You might save a "Master File" with everything visible. Then set up two or three secondary files with various walls invisible. Then you'll have the camera angle whenever you want it- like a Studio sound stage set where they can move sections of the walls out of the way.

I have thought about doing that. I just have to be careful which walls I hide as some of them are part of my light sources Β  Granted I can always throw in a light behind the camera too, but I'm a bit lazy in that regards sometimes.Β

Thank you!Β  I wanted them to all be different and unique and stand out, even while sitting at a console. Glad some of that came through.
