*RING RING RING! RIIIIING!*
“ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I’LL CHECK MY STUPID INBOX!” Aspa shouted over practically half the office. People around seemed to give her some side-eye, though they all quickly returned to their own work typing on their computers, taking calls and whatnot. When she joined, Aspa hadn’t expected the Fairy Godmothers to be so… bureaucratic. Goes to show how little business and capitalism changes *even when* it’s being run by girls. She just had to be thankful, she supposed, that she wasn’t working with the Fairy Godfathers, she could only imagine the office life being even worse when it’s a sausage fest. Was that sexist? Okay whatever, she apparently had something to check in her inbox, as the receptionist politely informed her as she had arrived. Look, makeup was a pain today and there was traffic, so if this had something to do with being late then she has her excuses. As she sat down and adjusted her skirt, the office was blessed with a return to silence. Aspa has finished huffing across the floor, and she wasn’t likely to be as bothersome working on paperwork.
…
“I GOT ONE?!” Was heard after only about 10 seconds. “OMG I GOT ONE!” Aspa’s voice repeated, before the woman in the neighboring cubicle stepped over to shush the woman. “Oops, sorry…” She bashfully apologized. But hey, these people didn’t understand how big of a deal this was! She finally got an actual Fairy Godmother assignment! Literally her first one! *Some* people (who she shall not name!) had thought she was unsuited for the role altogether with her… transitionary past, let’s just say. But looks like she just needed some time! She printed the file to give it a good readthrough aaaaaand…!
“...A guy?” She questioned. Was this sent here by mistake? Shouldn’t the Fairy Godfathers handle this? Fairy Godmothers only change the lives of girls, after all. Or what, was this meant to be some prank to “put her in her place”? Because as some of her coworkers say, she’s not a Fairy God*mother*? “Ugh, when I find the person who-!” She vented before stopping, as she continued reading. “Actually…” She paused, reading further, before giving a smirk. “I think I get it…” No wonder they never sent her any assignments. This wasn’t discrimination, they probably just had her reserved for handling a specific kind of lives to change… Oh, she’s going to like this job.
MEANWHILE.....
Ron sighed. It was a sigh he, his bed, his walls, etc., were all accustomed to hearing. It felt like this happened a lot, but tonight’s sigh was even louder and even more drawn out. Because you see, it was finally Ron’s senior prom. The fact he was lying in his bed sighing to himself said all you needed to know about why this was important. Ron’s life had always somehow seemed… dull. He was expecting teenaged awkward hijinks when he started high school, whether it be hanging out with friends or crushing on a cute girl or something, but that somehow just never happened. He wasn’t sure if it was misfortune or whether something was just plain wrong with him, but somehow he just felt like his experience turned out disappointing. He’s gotten all the way to senior prom, yet at this point he just didn’t see the point in going. The boy sighed once more, “I wish things would just… be better. That my life had gone differently somehow…” he said out loud almost on a whim.
He turned his head to face the wall, absent-mindedly trying to close his eyes and forget about tonight, even as he heard some weird whirring and jingling in the back. Wait, what *was* that sound he was hearing? The sound was already gone by the time he turned back to face his room, though instead he saw… a fairy? A small but beautiful fairy, wearing a simple light brown dress that almost matched her hair, which sat at a slightly darker shade. It/She hadn’t seemed to notice him yet, giddily prancing around in the air with a silly giggle. “Ooooh I’ve been wanting to try out this form so much!” She said, before her eyes finally met Ron’s.
An awkward silence emerged, though it was quickly ended by the fairy flying almost straight into Ron’s face. “You must be Ronny, right?!” She asked in excitement.
The boy could only stutter and blush, with a beautiful woman suddenly floating in front of his eyes like that. It was at this point he could finally tell she had a pair of see-through wings on her back. She really was some kind of fairy… “Umm…”
“It’s alright, I know what your problem is! You’re wasting your youth all sad and need something that’ll turn your life around! That’s where I come in, because I’m your assigned Fairy Godmother, Aspa!” She explains, without giving Ron even a chance to say anything. The particles in the air seem to quickly gather together, before manifesting as a pink wand in the fairy’s hand.
Realizing after a short pause that Aspa wasn’t going to interrupt him now, Ron finally speaks, “F-Fairy what…? And what do you mean by all of that?”
In response, the fairy just giggled, “Why, I’m gonna use my magic to help you get to your senior prom, silly! Where you’re going to have the time of your life, looking your best, dancing and having fun with everyone, and maybe even fall in love!” She giggled once more at that last remark, she’d always been quite the romantic. “What do you think?! I just need you to sign this contract and I’ll get right to work!” As if on command (because it was), a piece of document manifested in the air through the same manner as the wand had earlier.
Ron was still dealing with the shock of all of this, it’s happening way too fast, and he keeps feeling like he can’t get a word in with how talkative this fairy godmother was. Then again, that’s also partially his fault, with how shy and awkward he was, which redirected his attention back to the document. It’s a contract, and skimming through it, it says exactly what Aspa said she’d do. Signing meant becoming her client, and allowing her to change as much as she desired to help him. “Will you… also make me more confident? And maybe more popular?” he asked.
Aspa nodded enthusiastically with a dumb grin on her face. “Yep! You’ll have everything you need to have a prom most people only dream of!” She answers.
“And… things won’t turn back to normal after midnight or something, right?” He then asked, which this time prompted Aspa to think.
“I mean, we do that a lot, but really we just need to have some kind of condition, not that specific one.” A bright lightbulb immediately then spawns over her head. “Oh, I know! Let’s set it as a kiss before midnight instead, you know like in Shrek 2!” She waved her wand and some additional scripture appeared on the document. “There! In order to keep the changes, you must kiss your true love before midnight! But in this case, I’ll just set it to your date! Happy?” She displayed a polite and innocent smile at having made that adjustment to the contract.
Ron pondered further… Then there really was no reason to? He wouldn’t change back so long as he managed to kiss his date. Gosh, and it’d probably be a really cute girl too… “A-Alright, I’ll do it!” He confidently declared, though with a little bit of blush on his face. With another smile and a wave of her wand, a quill manifested in Ron’s hand, which was his sign to begin signing. Shortly before placing the final dot, the contract seemed to dissolve…
…Now what?
“AAAALRIGHT! Now let’s get to WORK!” Aspa shouted, to Ron’s tortured shock, before zipping around his room in a frenzy. “Okay, which is first which is first which is first.” He heard her say, though from where he wasn’t even sure at this point. Eventually the zipping stopped at his desk. “Let’s start with something that’s totally essential!” She said, before firing a cute little pink beam from her wand, that before you knew it seemed to drastically alter his desk. The colors appeared to gray, though quickly it was apparent that they were actually going from a black look to white. His monitor similarly stopped showing a black screen, though it instead displayed a reflection, and proceeded to change shape in a manner where the result became a delicate mirror. His high-end PC under it seemed to fuse with his desk at first, also slowly adopting a whiter color. Before he knew it his gaming computer had turned into a set of delicate drawers.
“M-My PC!” He shouted, though Aspa had already moved on. She had finished the desk, which while originally had a keyboard, mouse and various items sitting on top now held a bunch of the essentials the fairy was talking about. Specifically, makeup essentials. Brush, eyeliner, palette. Ron didn’t even know what to call half of this stuff, he wasn’t a girl after all! By the time he turned around to face Aspa, his bed had already also taken on a subtle change in appearance. It looked like something out of a girl’s room! And everything else in his room, stuffed animals laying on his bed, suddenly there was a boy band poster on his wall, which was a pastel pink now, by the way. Without even taking in what had changed, you could tell what was going on just by the overall change in color focus to whites and light pinks!
His eyes finally caught Aspa shooting another pink beam at his closet, which seemed to actually grow a bit along the way. He ran to peek inside, and wouldn’t you know it. His old clothes were gone, it was now filled with outfits belonging to a teenage girl. “Wha-? What did you do?!” He yelled.
“Oh, are you wondering about the prom dress?” She asked innocently. “Don’t worry, no reason to make you bother getting in it, so I was just gonna magic that with the rest of you.” Before Ron could get a word in yet again, Aspa interrupted, this time by shooting the pink beam at *him* this time.
Immediately, there was a tingling feeling almost everywhere. Hair was touching his neck, and his back now as well, he felt himself get smaller, his body growing more compact. The itching sensation of hair in many places seemed to vanish, and almost in exchange he felt his chest get heavier in a way that only confirmed his suspicions. As he felt the final touches apply to his groin, irrefutably making him female, he yelled, “Why did you make me a girl?!” He shouted in a voice that surprised him, immediately covering his mouth in shock.
Aspa just giggled, “Like I said, I’m turning your life around! In your case, that meant turning you around in more ways than one.” She winked and smiled, giddily swirling her wand as if she was excited the most for this part.
“By making me a girl?! Being a girl doesn’t suddenly make me able to have a fun prom!” He complained.
“Well duh, you also need your *dress*,” She said, shooting the wand at his clothes this time, “and your *makeup*,” She continued, hitting him in the face, “and of course, your boyfriend who should be showing up soon…” She added, intentionally quietly this time while facing away from the newly-made girl, staring out the window.
Ron was too occupied processing the changes though, as he now wore a beautiful red dress that exposed his shoulders and new cleavage. Paired with that, he now wore long silky white gloves, and some blue jewelry around his neck. He could even feel his ears carrying some kind of weight, implying she’d managed to pierce his ears to grant him some kind of earrings. He then caught his face in the mirror for the first time, now unmistakably that of a woman’s, which wasn’t helped by the heavy layer of makeup now adorned. It was the kind you’d only see most girls wear on those specific nights, like their senior prom. “Th-This isn’t right…” He could only say, this was a lot to take in.
“It’s okay!” Aspa happily interjected. “You just need some time to adjust! But I promise that once your date gets here, you’ll have an amazing time!” Ron was still half occupied by examining his face, it was all so surreal. “You know, Ronny isn’t right anymore, come to think of it, a girl like you needs a better name than that!” That caught Ron’s attention again, but like clockwork Aspa interrupted before he could say anything, “Oh, I got it! Erin! I’ll call you Rinny then! Yep, you’re like my Cinderinny, Rinny!”
“But I’m not a girl!” Ron finally said. “L-Look, I think I might just take the loophole out, this isn’t right. I’ll skip the prom and things will just go back at midnight, right?”
But Aspa gave a skeptical look. “I dunno, you’d need to think up an excuse for your date when he gets here…”
Ron sighed, “I know but-” Wait a minute.
‘He’?
“He…?” He asked. The fairy immediately changed expressions to look like someone caught doing something they shouldn’t. “What do you mean, he? My date’s a guy?!” Ron yelled once more, as if the fairy hadn’t made things frustrating enough.
But Aspa just as quickly switched to an innocent smile, “Yep! Your sweet boyfriend!” She happily answered.
“But I can’t have a boyfriend, I’m straight!”
To which Aspa just nodded, “Exactly!”
“No, you know what I mean!”
The fairy sighed, “Look girl, all the girls already had dates. What, you think I’m gonna spawn someone into thin air for you or swap *more people*’s genders around?” She asked.
“You swapped mine!” He immediately retorted.
“Look, let's just not argue about this.” She said dismissively, “Besides, guy or girl doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with liking one over the other. What's important here, is that I made your date *super* hot! So whatever happens, you'll be satisfied!"
“But like I said I’m-!” a distant ring stopped the two’s argument in its tracks, however.
Aspa just smiled, “Oh look, he’s here. Better get down there so you don’t keep him waiting!” She said as she began pushing Ron out of his room towards the hallway.
“But-!”
She approached his ear, suddenly dropping to a serious and vaguely threatening tone. “Look, if you’re really so determined to stay the loser that you were and ruin this whole thing for me, I’d like to see you even try resisting the wonderful life I’m giving you. Remember, just give your boyfriend one sweet little kiss and you can keep being my wonderful little Rinny for the rest of your life. Have fun!”
And with that, she disappeared, seemingly into thin air. Ron was left on his own in the hallway, and it began to hit him just how much his body changed now that he had to get himself to the front door. The shift in weight and balance was one thing, but the heels he could tell was the real issue. How did girls ever walk like this? Though after feeling another mysterious zap at his feet, suddenly it got a bit easier. What the hell, it wasn’t mysterious, that fairy was probably still hiding around here somewhere. Whatever the case, the walk quickly became easier now that he mysteriously had the knowledge of how to walk in heels, and he was starting to figure out how to move with his new body too. There was just a slight sway to his stride that he had to keep up to account for the new weight, that was all.
Ron quickly heard voices as he approached, those of his parents, and of a guy. Clearly they’d let him in while they waited. When she finally turned the corner to see the three chatting, time for Rinny seemed to stand still. Her eyes were almost immediately fixated on the mysterious guy. His build was the very first thing that stood out. His shoulders were… quite broad, wow, and you could tell there was a tiny bit of muscle probably built under his eloquent suit. He was also tall, certainly taller than Rinny now that her transformation had left her slightly shrunken in size. His hair was dark, but also short and well kept, as if the wind had blown it into a perfect position. And as she came closer, she found his face had something to appreciate as well. His jaw was angular, and his lips had a softness in direct contrast to the subtle stubble she was beginning to make out around it. Finally, as he noticed her presence, she felt his piercing blue eyes gaze almost into her soul. She felt so alien in her dress before, but the feeling of him looking at her like that, for just that moment, made it all seem so worth it. There was a fluttering in her chest at just the thought of this handsome gentleman admiring how she looked.
“I see Luke brought something for you, Rinny.” Her dad said, which immediately seemed to also snap him out of his trance.
Wait, Luke? He got another look at the handsome face in front of him. His eyes grew wide in realization, it was different as hell, but he could tell. Those subtle facial traits were still there, despite the crazy boost in looks. This wasn’t his boyfriend, it was his friend Luke! But what happened to him? Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome here only used to be one of those things! He was skinny too, his arms were suddenly way thicker, which somehow just made them even more transfi-
His train of thought was this time stopped by a rose shoved into his face. Oh right, dad said he brought something, he’d been completely absorbed by the weird mystery of Luke he’d ignored that part. He delicately accepted the rose, almost out of pressure from the people around him. Guess the prom really was unavoidable. He found himself smelling the rose and… it was actually kind of sweet? “Aww, thanks Luke.” He said without thinking. What was that ‘aww’? Was it just him or did he just talk like a girl there?
“No problem babe.” He replied, picking up the rose himself to place it in Ron’s dress. Gosh his voice was so weirdly deep, he really did change a lot. He unexpectedly wrapped his arm around Ron’s waist, before addressing his parents, “We’ll be leaving now.” He said.
“Have fun you two!” He heard from them in return, before he was swept out the door with Luke.
As it closed, Ron was still kind of adjusting to the arm around his waist. His mind kept being occupied by how big it was, or atleast bigger it was than his own arm… And they were so close together too, some strong scent had been assaulting his nose for a good minute now, and he couldn’t place exactly what it was. It was just something emanating out of Luke. Maybe a kind of deodorant? He never experimented that much with it himself, but that sounded about right. But if it was deodorant, why would he be… liking it? Something about that subtly masculine scent kept him almost drawn to Luke, as if he didn’t even wanna leave. As he turned his head to look up at him, he wondered how this could possibly be the same person. To his surprise though Luke turned his head, and suddenly met his eyes. A blush crept up as Rinny felt a fluttering in her stomach. She quickly tried to avoid making eye contact, only for her gaze to stop at his lips and admire how soft they were, in direct contrast to the rest of his rough exterior. It was all just… so alluring somehow…
No, no, no. He pushed himself away, no longer holding onto Luke. He had to clear his mind. This all had to be Aspa’s doing, that damn fairy! What did she say, that she couldn’t make people out of thin air? After making Ron into a girl, she had to make another loser into the perfect date, and because she didn’t want to change *that* person’s gender for some reason, she just had him be the handsome dude while Ron was turned into a straight girl instead she was at it! This was the worst. Here he was now, a teenage girl in a pretty red dress heading to senior prom with his boyfriend of all things. This was all not what he had in mind when he signed that contract! He knew how to get out of this, just don’t go to prom, just don’t see your stupid handsome boyfriend again so after midnight everything goes back to normal. But the most frustrating part about this, was that even though he knew what he had to do and Luke wasn’t holding him or anything.
He still couldn’t bring himself to run.
LATER, AT PROM...
Rinny took another sip from her punch, weakly sighing to herself. Luke had already split off to hang out with his ‘bros’ (since when?), leaving the poor girl alone to continue thinking about her predicament. She felt so many eyes on her since she came in, especially from the guys, which was expected. What was she supposed to do now, exactly…?
“Heyyy girlfriend!” She heard someone calling out from behind her. She recognized the girl. It was Jessica, one of the prettier girls she’d recognize, wearing a skinny blue dress that emphasized her curves. “You’re looking great, Rinny, seriously! I’m loving that dress!” She exclaimed, going in for a small hug.
Ah right, if Luke suddenly had 'bros' to hang out with, then Rinny probably had ‘girlfriends’ now too, she supposed. “Thanks!” She politely replied as the hug ended. Then uhh… oh god what was she supposed to do now? “Omg thanks! Same to you, girl, that dress is really working with your curves!” She smiled, silently freaking out over why that came so naturally to her.
Jessica put on a giddy smile of her own, “I know, right?! I was thinking the same thing!” She giggled, though she cocked an eyebrow when noting the unusual expression on Rinny’s face. One of confused exhaustion. “You good, Rinny? Someone didn’t spike the punch, did they?” she asked, drawing her eyes over to the bowl.
But Rinny deflected, “No no, it’s alright, just feeling awkward, I guess…”
“It’s not Luke, is it?” She inquired, “Ugh, it’d be so typical if he turned out to be a jerk, no guy’s that perfect.”
“No, again it’s alright, I just…” Rinny sighed, “I need a moment to myself.” She added before heading off. Where? Why, to the bathroom of course. Just away from the rest of the party…
Rinny entered with a loud sigh, trying to ignore the girl nearby fixing herself up. She clasped the sink, and exhaustedly looked in the mirror. Once more she felt weird seeing herself like that, dolled up, beautiful dress, “Rinny”. But it felt less so than earlier when she first transformed. She found herself instinctively looking over herself to detect any errors, dress straps on right, hair looking good, makeup flawless. But no, the fairy said what she said, this was meant to be a night most people could only dream of. She was basically perfect, aside from the glaring issue. But even then she could tell what was going on. She was catching herself making feminine hand gestures, her gait was flawless, and she was beginning to feel like an entirely different person sometimes when speaking. Gosh, she’s already been thinking of herself as a girl for a while now. The fairy godmother already changed her so much, and had seemingly brainwashed Luke into being an entirely different person, was her mind catching up to the fairy’s intended vision of who ‘Rinny’ was supposed to be?
Gosh, come to think of it, what was Luke even doing right now? Splitting off from his girlfriend. Guess she can’t blame him, boys will be boys, but she really wanted to see what he was up to. Maybe he was flexing to his friends and showing everyone that dumb smile of his, stroking his stubbled chin with a hand attached to arms strong enough to probably lift her. Strong enough to hold her, and even carry her as she hangs her own arms around his neck, before leaning in for a-
“Uhh you okay?” She snapped out of it. Was that a… daydream? A romantic daydream… of a guy? Gosh she really was a straight girl now, everything about these thoughts made her feel stuff in ways she’s never felt as a guy, just the image of wedding bells was enough to get her to blush. How was she supposed to undo the changes with intrusive thoughts like these?! But oh right, the girl next to her. That’s who was talking to her.
“Y-Yeah, sorry, just lost in thought.” Rinny answered bashfully.
The girl nodded in response, “Yeah I get it. You came with Luke, right? I think a lot of girls would react like that.”
Rinny paused, “...I’m really lucky apparently, aren’t I?” She sighed, still unable to get rid of that smile from before. Ugh just what was that dreamboat doing to her?!
“Ain’t that the truth, no way the two of you aren’t getting the crown tonight.” She responded with a sigh of her own, walking up to approach her. “But I know the feeling, look.” She turned on her phone, the home screen showing an image of the girl and a guy, seemingly taken just this very night a short while ago. The girl in her cute dress, the guy was a few inches taller and wore a suit. He wasn’t quite as attractive as Luke, but he seemed reasonably fit, and he wore glasses that actually seemed to compliment him. Coupled with the smile he had…
“He’s cuuute~!” Rinny said, before she caught herself. Whoops, did she really say that? And to his girlfriend’s face?
The girl just chuckled, “Yeah, I know, right? He’s a bit dorky, but that just makes him all the more adorable to me, you know? I don’t think I’ll ever understand boys, but something about them’s just somehow charming like that, you know?”
Rinny just nodded, she supposed that was true. “Like totally!” It was weird for her to agree to, but boys just felt like an enigma to her almost. But something she knew very well was how adorable and flustered they could get when a beautiful girl like her teased them and maybe gave them a good kiss~ Rinny bit her lip, she could actually really go for- Wait no, what thought process was that? Where did the idea that boys were fun to flirt with and kiss come from? This might be messing with her sexuality but she hasn’t done either of those things, so how could she think that?! Well, there was nothing stopping her from giving it a try and seeing for herse- No. No. Pull yourself together, Rinny.
“Anyway, I’m gonna head out. I think I’ll find my boyfriend to drag him out to dance. See ya, Rinny!” She waved as she left the bathroom.
“Byeee!” Rinny waved goodbye in her new usual girly ditzy manner as she turned back to face the mirror. Actually, what was she doing in here again? Just fixing herself up, right? Well she did so, hair’s good, dress good, oh actually the eyelashes need a bit touching on. She pulled what she needed out of her purse and quickly got to work, only taking around half a minute. You know, for someone who’s only been a girl for a few hours now, she felt surprisingly comfortable reapplying some makeup. It also felt surprisingly satisfying to do. You know, why has she been so bothered about this? Sure it’s kind of messed up to change someone against their will, but she was still a cute girl, or scratch that, a beautiful one. Nothing wrong with taking pride or advantage in that.
She left the bathroom very soon after, only to literally bump into Luke, “Oh there you are babe, was wondering where you were.” Rinny was barely even listening honestly, she felt her expression expand to a dumb grin as her hunk of a boyfriend returned to her. Oh my~ that masculine scent was back too, and for some reason she kinda liked it even more now.
She found herself leaning in to him as opposed to staying away, instinctively laying her hand on his chest in an unconsciously flirty move. A move she might actually be more into than him, because there was something about that that lit a fire inside her. Oh my gosh why was this man so hot?! Take her now!
But Luke gently took her hand with his own, “I’m done hanging out with my friends, figured I should show you some attention, especially since you’re my date and all…” He bashfully admitted, grinning with those stupidly soft lips of his as his eyes gazed into her own.
Rinny couldn’t stop grinning, this man was driving her wild! She could almost swoon in his arms, right now! She needed to feel it, his embrace as their lips touched, to feel the love and worship this man held for a body she’s worked tirelessly for! To-!
She ran.
She almost wasn’t sure why, but some inner part of her just wanted to run. This wasn’t right, was it?! She wasn’t Erin! She wasn’t Rinny! Not even a girl! She was a guy named uhh something who uhh couldn’t I think find a girlfriend because he was lonely and- or was that right because she couldn’t imagine wanting one, since hunky boyfriends were where it’s at- no focus she was a guy she didn’t want this the fairy tricked her and she needed to go back to the life she had where she was a guy and she-
…Where he was lonely, and where he missed out on prom.
Rinny stopped when her thoughts had reached that point, right outside the building where the prom was being held. It was almost dark out, full moon in the sky. She didn’t think it was midnight yet, but did she want to go back?
It was at that moment that Luke also came out. Of course, Rinny realized. The dummy would indeed follow her. Aw, he was so sweet like that… “Rinny, are you okay? You almost scared me. Are you sure you want to be out here? It’s kinda dark out…” He stepped forward, and Rinny didn’t know how to react. A part wanted to step back, another wanted to jump in his arms. That sweet concern on his face…
Luke took a few more steps closer, and with each one she found her resistances waning. “Luke…” She sighed dreamily. Gosh, this wasn’t just some mad crush she was stuck with, it might actually be pure love as well. Even when leaving crossed her mind, just having a life without him… felt impossible, incomplete. She needed him.
When he finally came close enough, Rinny found herself leaping up, wrapping up her arms around his neck and bringing her lips directly to his. It was a shock to him, but she knew it’d only take him a second to reciprocate. It was a magical moment, it was almost as if fireworks were going off in her head, and her heart had gone from beating like a jackhammer to being completely at peace. Knowing the full moon also shone directly above them, she couldn’t help but find this the most romantic way to have a first kiss~ “Mmm~” Rinny smiled, the kiss itself was overall even better than she imagined. Something about the stubble touching her face really reinforced the sexy masculinity of her partner, which only made her even more eager. It was like kissing a thorned rose.
The kiss finally broke apart. She wanted more but… that could wait until later, and she was sure Luke agreed. “Sorry, I just needed some fresh air…” She excused, not really a total lie.
“As beautiful as the moon and that kiss was…” He began, cupping her chin in his hand while still holding her close. “We should probably head inside now, shouldn’t we?”
Rinny awkwardly brushed aside some. Oh right, gosh she could be such a ditz sometimes. “Alright, let’s go, babe.” She answered, grabbing and holding onto his arm, as the two returned to the venue to have the prom of their lives.

This story came as a suggestion/commission from the wonderful Jindujun93 !
You know, as someone who's lately said she's inactive because of being busy with irl stuff, finals week is certainly the last time you'd expect me to upload a hefty story like this. What can I say? In my self-destructive efforts to procrastinate, I wound up writing 9 whole pages worth of story in a day. Counted in 11p Arial with 1,15 spacing, by the way, and it has way less paragraph spacing in that original doc than it does here. The doc I store all of my tg writing in was 55 pages yesterday and today it has jumped to 64. I think this might be my longest yet. It Feels Right was 6, in comparison.
I should still be able to handle the exams, thankfully. Spending my time writing this hasn't ruined it or anything, it's just a day wasted. Who knows when I'll feel like doing something after those are done, I have one or two more old commissions I remember wanting to do, but I also want to make another simple caption if anything. We'll see how things go.
The image was provided by the requester, who commissioned it herself from deviantart user AgnesAr !
I don't know how to link users in this welp
Other than that, cheers!
