Wow, that's beautiful. I'm starting to feel that Thailand would be a cool place to visit sometime (I've never been particularly drawn to SE Asia)

think I prefer this one to the first.

The clouds came out a little better in that one, but the sea looks much better in this, and the rocks just fit into the frame slightly better here - imposing but all there - possibly because of the way the piece to the right is slightly set forward.

Big geography is often quite hard to get to work in a photo, but this one is really good, well done.

It's a totally different part of the island, and a different time of day. It's nice of you to make the comparison and explain why - I appreciate that a lot. Thanks a lot.

What I wouldn't give to climb those rocks, wow! Beautiful shot

It'd be a challenge, but I'm sure any rock climber would be drooling!!! Thanks for your comment.

No problem. Heh, I'd love to try and climb it, but yeah, I'd die. Not that good yet, still in the intermediate stage, and more of an indoor gym climber

At least you'd fall into the sea!

And bellyflop myself to death. I was thrown from a jetski once at 50 mph, and hit a wave coming in the other direction. I just stopped when I hit the water, and the wave carried me in the other direction. Sprained a foot, both wrists, and bruised the hell out of my face

Ugh. This is why I don't do extreme sports. Call me a wuss, but I've never been seriously injured and I like it that way.

I've been lucky, I think I should have died a couple of dozen times now. Unfortunately, some small medical problems not related to anything crazy put me out of many a stupid possibilites. I really wanted to be a stuntman, I'm great at flailing my arms while falling off of buildings. But I don't medically qualify because of a dodgy knee and a formerly fractured spine.

It's a shame, telling people you skewered yourself on a pole while shooting Mission Impossible 5 sounds much more exciting than having a accident.

Heh, Cruise is actually the one I want to be a stunt double for. We're just about the same heighth (ha, he's really short too), the same colored skin, and we were close to the same weight. I've lost a bit now though. Still though, I can say I had my knee broken by a side kick in a martial arts nationals tournament, and my spine was fractured by a boken a student was swinging at the studio I formerly taught at. Both better than falling down the stairs

I save hard.
I have basically taken four trips overseas in my adult life - one lasted a year, one lasted three months, and the other two were a few weeks. I took a LOT of photos. And I'm really glad that they're appreciated by people like you!
