Description Okay, This is another Avatar: The Journey of Aang (Aka Avatar:The Last Airbender) character of mine. I just created her, so she's still a little rough. I know her picture's not quite right. There's something I need to do with it so suggestions would be really helpful.
Read her bio (to follow) to get to know her. And if you wanna draw her, feel free.) I used another picture as a refrence (as usual. Hopefully soon I'll be able to draw -without- refrences) The picture was yuria. Can't find it online anymore. So Yuria belongs to whoever owns her. But Ying Ying is mine. Avatar stuff belongs to the nice people who created it and allow us to make original chars for it.

Hair- long slightly unkempt white/silver/blonde
Eyes- green

Weight- 35 kg
Distinguishing features- always barefoot, hair is always tied loosely back with a leather thong odd scarring on her right shoulder and left leg very soft almost lyrical voice

Bending style- none
Nation- none
Abilities- ability to speak with, calm and tame animals, she also knows the best ways to find sustenance in an area.

Description- Ying is a scrawny little child who has a constantly curious look on her face. She’s agile and quick, but not very strong. She has a bright mind and can solve problems, unfortunately she’s easily distracted. She’s never without some kind of wild animal, many of which normal people wouldn’t go anywhere near. Her clothing is almost always dirt-covered and torn, but she never seems to notice it. One gets the feeling she’d be as comfortable in elegant wear as a firebender would be in his underwear in the South Pole. Her hair, naturally dark brown, is bleached out by the sun and the outdoors and unruly. She keeps it tied loosely back with a strong flexible vine or a leather thong (when she gets them). When she speaks, her voice is lyrical and as pretty as a song bird’s and it becomes clear how she can charm even the most wild of beasts into a tame lull.

Attitude- Ying is a bit shy when it comes to outsiders. She’s very willing to help them get out of her forests, or away from animals. And she’s almost vengeful against those she sees mistreating animals. Otherwise she’s a very kind-hearted girl who tends to feel a little too strongly toward others. She has no fear of benders, seeming amazed at even the smallest bit of bending. She has a quick mind and can solve most problems with (most often) a simple solution, though her solutions aren’t always what someone else may want. (I.e. a hole in a dam might be plugged up with someone else’s finger while she goes to look for a proper stick.) Unfortunately her sharp mind is offset by a short attention span. (While you’re holding your finger in the dam she goes to get a stick and while looking for a stick she finds a fascinating sparkly stone and completely forgets about the stick) Very often she doesn’t seem very apologetic for these lapses. She’s often so excited about whatever distracted her; she forgets the importance of what she’d been doing before.
This has an upside. She doesn’t hold a grudge for very long, quick to forget and forgive. Unless someone pains her deeply by hurting her or her friends.
When she decides someone must be punished, she’s very adamant about it and despite her short attention span, will rarely rest until she sees a fitting punishment dealt. Though the minute she feels they’ve paid for their crimes (either against her or her friends) She’s instantly kind toward them and all is forgiven.

Background- Ying is not an orphan. She knows exactly who her parents are (or she did at one point). She is also spirit-touched. She was injured during a fight between her parents and a gang of pirates who had taken her to try to force her merchant parents to pay ransom. Ying Ying ran away from the fighting in a panicked fear. She became lost in the woods until she collapsed near a spring. The spirit of the forest took pity on the small lost girl and gave her the strength she needed to live. The action turned her hair white/golden (as being spirit touched seems to do). Frightened and unsure of anything she spent nearly a year trying to find her way home. She imitated the animals of the forest to survive. After nearly a year of surviving on her own, with little company but hogmonkeys and other critters, she came upon a vast network of Badgermole tunnels. The animals very nearly crushed the girl for trespassing until she ran to, and hid behind, one of their young. When the baby Badgermole woke up she began to sing it back to sleep. The Badgermoles, lulled by her voice, became compliant and spared her.
As Ying Ying grew, she began to raid human encampments for clothing and began to actively search the forests for traps. She became the bane of several hunting parties, luring the animals away from them and forcing the hunters away.
When she turned ten, and had become a nearly feral child, she was caught in a very well hidden earth trap. The hunter that found her was a kind hearted soul and took care of the injured girl. She stayed with the earthbender until her wounds were healed and afterward followed him on his hunts. She lived with the old earthbending hermit until his dying day two years later, where he died of old age.
Ying had her friend buried with the help of the badgermoles. Shortly after the old man’s death, she began to wanderlust and found herself traveling all over the kingdoms (where she could).
To this day she’s fascinated by all bending styles and will happily watch benders practice or spar for hours. So long as they’re not harming her or her friends of course.
