Description Links to my previous oriental themed weapons: [link] [link] And some information from kunais and shurikens: [link] [link]

Four senban shurikens on that first picture are forged from old square plate washers just like in the feudal Japan. Big hira shuriken in the middle is my own fantasy desing and it's forged from old motorcycle chain wheel.

On that bottom set are three traditional sho-kunais (Lenght 315 mm and weight 500 grams.) and i made them from old leaf springs. Two big dai-kunais are forged from some normal 10 mm thick flat steel bars what i found lying around my workshop.. (Lenght 410-430 mm & weight 916-940 grams.)

You have maybe seen some modern Naruto style kunai-knifes with "diamond blades", but that leaf shaped blade is really much more authentic like the old traditional models.

very impressive.  especially with how you stuck to tradition on the kunai!  i so hate naruto for how they depict the kunai, in both form AND function.

Nice to hear it. I made some game/movie/comic related weapons in my teen years, but in nowadays I like traditional weapon designs much more than some fantasy pieces.

oh don't get me wrong, i like a good fantasy piece as well.  it's just that naruto itself has this younger generation thinking a kunai is a diamond bladed knife-like shuriken and it has me all up a height over it.

Oletko kokeillut jos nuo jää kiinni seinään kun heität niitä?

No eihän niitä kannata seiniin heittää, jos on olemassa oikeakin maalitaulu.

Totta... Olisi hauskaa kokeilla heittää shurikenia joskus. Ei ole (harmi kylläkin) näkynyt niitä kaupoissa... (-.-)

Lol.. I have secret weapon stashes almost every room in this house, so all the burglars get very nasty surprice if they try to come in when i'm still in home.

Most of the bigger weapons are located to my bedroom walls or one big chest under my bed, so i can get something sharp to my hands always very fast.

Sounds like how I have my house laid out. though I make sure that an axe or war pick is very noticible to anyone looking in through any of the ground floor windows. I had a hilarious encounter with a Jehova Witness once when I opened the door and first thing the guy noticed was my left arm stretched back, hand grabbing the handle of an axe that was resting in the hooks that hold my keys. He went wide eyed and said "Never mind. Sorry to bother you.." and nearly ran back to the curb.

I have one big baseball bat leaning to my front door coat rack. It's not so "obvious" home protection object than some fearsome weapons like battle axes, because baseball is really a quite popular past time sport in this part of the country.

I don't really want to scare all my visitors away, because it's not probably very good for the business..

Thanks for the compliments.
Next weapon related set is going to be maybe some maces or battle axes, but i have to make a huge pile of more "normal" commission works, before i have again some time for my personal hobby projects.
