Traditional studies I did recently.Water and clouds are hard to paint - they can't stay the same for even a second! But that's a nice challenge and I feel that I paint them more freely now then at the beginning of the month.
I simply love my motherland. It is so full of inspiration!

But before Plein air, you need to do still life. The reason being it's a controlled environment that lets you build confidence. The light outside is unpredictable and the colors more complex in nature. Think of it as learning to crawl before you walk.

The two things I can advice is, first, study the basics of colour theory (contrast colours, complimentary colours, etc.), second - working on plein air. referencing from photos is nice, but only when there's no other way to draw what you need. Photos don't always show the colours justice plus you can't feel the air perspective. Studying from nature is hard at first and requires some patience, but in the end you start to find pleasure in such work. And you improve your painting skills.

I wish I could! But that trip would cost much, haha. So maybe someday I will be able to travel that far, but now I stay here and enjoy the nature of my Motherland.

Very good! The colors give a very clear feel for the weather conditions and your style is loose but has enough detail to be interesting. My opinion; best sky is top left and best water is middle right.
