About Waltz:
Waltz was young when he lost his parents, so he only remembers his sister Tempo, ever taking care of him. He thinks very highly of her and knows he can always rely on her. She taught him how to use magic and tried to train him to fight. He hates fighting though and will do everything to avoid it. But he helps assist his sister by keeping watch when she’s breaking into rich homes for goods. He doesn’t agree with this lifestyle, but the two siblings have few options. They sell the stolen goods at black markets or to specific buyers.

History:
Waltz was born into a small family with a rambunctious older sister. Despite their parents’ best efforts, the two didn’t get along. One night one Waltz was only 3 he got very sick. Simple herbs and medicines didn’t break his fever, so his parents decided to run to a nearby village. His sister was left in charge of him. While his parents were gone Tempo stayed by his bedside. She would pet his head and sing lullabies to help soothe him.
Three days went by and their parents hadn’t returned. A search team had been sent out by the village to find them. Upon the team’s arrival to the village below the mountains they found out it had been ransacked and Walz and Tempo’s parents had been caught up in it. When they returned they gave Tempo the bad news.
With his parents gone and no medicine to cure him, things seemed grim for the two siblings. Tempo, fortunately, came up with a plan to save her brother. She went into her dads’ study and found his old healing spellbook. Though she was nervous to try it out for the first time she succeed.

After that Waltz and Tempo became inseparable. At the age of 4 Waltz began to show magical potential. His sister decided to train him and teach him how to harness his newfound abilities. He struggled to produce any element of magic, but he was able to create a magic shield and discovered he could move things with his mind. This however causes server headaches, so he tends not to use it much.
After his sister turned 17, she had decided that she was sick of living the simple village life and asked Waltz to leave with her. Despite not wanting to leave the safety of his home, he felt it wouldn’t be home without her, so they headed off. They now travel the world together but being sure to steal things along the way to keep themselves afloat.

Personality:
Waltz is shy but very sassy. He doesn’t care what others think of him and he has a bad habit of saying things that lead to arguments. Thankfully the confrontations are ended quickly by his sister. Waltz won’t physically fight someone but will defend himself with magic if threatened. He stays on the down low and typically goes unnoticed. Around his sister, he will let himself relax and shows a more sweater and kinder side. Very few have seen Waltz like this outside from his sister and he doesn’t make new friends easily because of his defensive attitude.

Abilities:
Shield magic – he’s able to create a psychic shield that can repel magical attacks. This does not protect him from physical attack. The stronger his focus is the stronger the shield is. If the shield is broken/shattered he will collapse from a severe headache.
Telekinesis- Can move things around with his mind. Doing this causes a headache and can only be done for a short time.
