Description still work in progress. I want to tame some of the color down or add somethinng to the background. just something fun I was workign up today to play with photoshop 7 a little.

i think the flames look bloody marvellouslike they will continue to move if you look away.
as a pretty crap photomanipulator i can offer you this advice:do what you see fit as im sure it will be as you wish in the end eh?

not real crazy bout this one my friend. it's a departure from your paint and pastels which is fine, i'm all for diversity, lord knows i need more of that with my work, but i just don't sense any connection with this one. i have faith in you though, even if i can't think of any suggestions i'm sure you could make this into something cool somehow.

actually, I just got photoshop 7 at work, and needed to make myself famillar with it. So I figured what better way to figure it out than do some art. (that and it was a sloooow day at work). I agree with you though.

Perhaps you could make the fire start from actually around and below the eye sockets, and give the corners of the piece a burnt effect to intensify the sense of heat.

i agree w/herlock about the flames. is this for anything in particular? or just a fun project? it looks like it could be the cover art for a hair metal band

hmmmm a little contradictive.. an evil upon the heavens...
dont get me wrong, i think u have done a great job... each effect is kick arse.. maybe try the blur tool to iron out those streaks?
Dont listen to me tho Im a photoshop virgin.. im still on my 'L' plates. lol

Pretty cool effects. The flames would look better without the waviness...especially in the right eye, and there are some streaks on the cloud background. Otherwise, an awesome idea. Can't wait to see the finished product!
