Description ok, the most recent piece I've worked. This one was maybe 3 months of work. Technically it's mixed medium, n that I used some non "paint" aspects to it, but they were covered in paint in the end. This one was a labor of love.....it's 3 foot by 4 foot, and was a hug canvas to manipulate.

the imagery is the "root of all evil" or at least the results of it. just one look at what someone can do to themselves....and how it comes to bear when priorities can be misalligned.

thanks for looking!

I hate money with a passion, the way it rules peoples lives - it shits me to tears, and at the same time I love it...i'm definately doing an oil painting on this subject one day, hopefully. That's what really struck me about this painting anyway - the money, greed etc. thier are so many aspects to this piece, it truly is a marvel in every sense of the word. You are most definately an inspiration to me and my oil paintings. Fantastic stuff!

This is absolutely beautiful...I love color, but composition is even more important to me...and this piece shines in that respect. I love the overall creativity that has gone into this...and that each element seems to have a meaning, and a purpose both symbolically, and in the visual sense.

good use of colors, they really get the eye moving around. it looks like you know what you're doing when it comes to color theory and complementary colors.....composition's not too bad either, the figure looks good to the side, glad you didn't put him right in the central. strong piece with a strong meaning. keep it up!

this is really really stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love the theme (even if i think that's TIME the source of all evil)
i love the colors, i love the shapes.
i love how the beam of light looks like they are blinding the people under the "dollar-cross"
holy monkey. that's great.

crucifixion! i love the sun (is it a sun, in the bg?) and the rays of light and how they're cut up. the body is interesting. a recurring visual theme in your work: curves against sharp/hard lines.

i think the root of all evil is testosterone.
sorta kinda kidding. maybe

It's nice to see some real art here. Caus this is what I like to call art. I like it very much, the colours, the composition. Is that Christ crusified on a dollarsign? You can sure tell this was a labour of love

yea.. the crucifiction had to be influenced in parts of this. really beautiful work, I really like the way youve done the light all transparent Im not terribly good with transparencies. anyway trying to figure out the meaning... It seems to me when we raise ourselves to glory others may find out the true us. Im not sure really, Infact Im sure Im wrong.. Just what i see and I always love to hear interpritations but tell me If you donot.

looks like the crucifixion. love the intense colours.. amazingly done.. i can imagine the amount of effort that went into this.. even if it was only a few inches big (heh.. i'm assuming you meant feet right?)

dgroove [2003-05-28 17:05:27 +0000 UTC]

spectacular work -- i love this carnival like atmosphere -- the expressionist feel to it... the rays of light breaking up the canvas... and that twisted figure as the mesmorizing centerpiece -- a perversion of celebrity? a projected desire of the mass mind?

i know ho much work went into this. hats off, heads off, shoes off, socks off...
