I was watching the cartoon the other day and I couldn't deny just how badass it is. I love the characters, the colors, the style, everything. So I made this doodle last night in the wee hours to get the Batman Beyond giddies out of my head. I wanted to keep the heavy black shapes that the show had, while bringing it into a more traditional comics style.Related content

I'm glad I keep the Batman Beyond DVD and collected the comic series.

Willie was easily my favorite, I'm in the same boat, though my dad was just a grumpy mother fucker, not abusive. He's a good dude. I always wanted to see more Willie episodes.

I love the little details of this. The 'claws' in the suit that the cartoon had, the glow of the lenses on the cowl...

this one is my favorite batman of all, i just love the fact that Terry just "borrowed" the suite from the Batman prime and then was drafted by the old coot, later there's this complicated story where Bruce wayne is Terry's Father but i throw that around loosely since there was DNA manipulation involved, and Cadmus is behind it or some thing it gets all very confusing after that. but great job on the picture
