Kick friggen ass shot. How do you guy's get these shots? I need to hike with you if I can next year.

Well, I keep an eye on This [link] link, and they list who will be participating at upcoming Red Flag exercises. There may also be a link to the PR department if they plan on doing a media day. It's really easy to get on base IF THEY DO A MEDIA DAY. We were informed recently that Red Flag 09-02 was the last media day for a while. Their PR department is under staffed and under funded, and they said they will do it again, but for the foreseeable future, there won't be any more. But keep an eye out on that site.
That being said, there are SEVERAL great places to shoot from off base, incuding Las Vegas speedway and a little street off the approach end of runway 3L.
