I'm a huge fan of your work. I've wanted to be a tattoo artist my whole life, and I've been drawing, and drawing, and drawing. I recently took a break and went on an anime kick, but I'm back on my path to what I really want, and I'll be making a second account for my tattoo-related work. I have a couple questions, if you don't mind. I want to know what pen/inks you use for line drawings like this? The owl is absolutely beautiful, and the lines are so clean! Also, how did you go about tattooing? Was it hard getting an apprenticeship? I'm 16, and I hope to get one as soon as possible. Thank you so much for inspiring me, and I look forward to your word everytime I see you've posted something.
Much love,

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you very much! Ok let's see... As far as line drawing pens I typically use Microns, but before that I used Copic multi-liners (they're more expensive and really not that much better). And I had about an 8 month to maybe a year apprenticeship, but mine was pretty short to be honest. 2 years of apprenticeship is pretty common. It was actually much easier to get for me than I had been led to believe it would be, but I think I kind of got lucky. Generally it's pretty tough, especially depending on the area you live in. I live in a small-ish town, so there wasn't too much competition. Bigger cities are a little harder, and people tend to have more of an attitude (generally speaking of course, these are pretty much just blanket statements and aren't always the case). You're doing the right thing by drawing a ton and asking questions, the best advice I could give would be to just keep drawing, maybe explore new mediums, build up a solid art portfolio, and just get your name out there
