Whats the hype with these things??And what are they?? Iv been under a rock for a while it seems.

And very nice job, i would have used a wood treatment shine varnish it would have browned the wood a little more, given it a nice "rich" flavor

It's a folklore animal, half rabbit half antelope, and one of my favorite fictional beasts. They drink whiskey and sing, what could be better? Haha. :]

And thanks for the tip about the varnish, I don't usually work with wood so I don't know my ass from my elbow when it comes to wood treatments.

Nah like an actual taxidermy one. My living room is filled with antlers and a full bear on the wall and one big deer head, so it'd be great in there

Awwww I've always wanted a taxidermy jackalope! I have an ass ton of antlers, but unfortunately no rabbit to put them on... and the ones you can buy already done are soooo expensive!

Yeah taxidermy is really expensive. It's got a lot of weird chemicals involved and they have special molds for them and it's really specialty, so the prices go through the roof. I think the deer on our wall was about 400 haha
